Psalms 77
1 For the excellent musician Ieduthun. A Psalme committed to Asaph. My voyce came to God, when I cryed: my voyce came to God, and he heard me.
பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவன் எதுத்தூனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட ஆசாபின் சங்கீதம். நான் உதவிக்காக இறைவனை நோக்கி அழுதேன்; எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும்படியாக நான் இறைவனை நோக்கி அழுதேன்.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought ye Lord: my sore ranne and ceased not in the night: my soule refused comfort.
நான் துன்பத்தில் இருந்தபோது ஆண்டவரைத் தேடினேன்; இரவில் என் கைகளைத் தளராமல் உயர்த்தினேன், என் ஆத்துமாவோ ஆறுதலடைய மறுத்தது.
3 I did thinke vpon God, and was troubled: I praied, and my spirit was full of anguish. (Selah)
இறைவனே, உம்மை நான் நினைவுகூர்ந்தேன், நான் புலம்பினேன்; நான் தியானித்தேன், என் ஆவியோ சோர்ந்துபோயிற்று.
4 Thou keepest mine eyes waking: I was astonied and could not speake.
நீர் என் கண்களை மூடாதபடி தடுத்தீர்; நான் பேசமுடியாதபடி மிகவும் கஷ்டப்பட்டேன்.
5 Then I considered the daies of olde, and the yeeres of ancient time.
முந்தின நாட்களையும், கடந்துபோன வருடங்களைப்பற்றியும் நான் நினைத்தேன்;
6 I called to remembrance my song in the night: I communed with mine owne heart, and my spirit searched diligently.
நான் இரவில் என் பாடல்களை நினைவுகூர்ந்தேன். என் இருதயம் தியானித்தது, என் ஆவியோ இப்படி விசாரணை செய்தது:
7 Will the Lord absent him selfe for euer? and will he shewe no more fauour?
“யெகோவா என்றென்றும் புறக்கணிப்பாரோ? அவர் மீண்டும் ஒருபோதும் தயவு காண்பிக்கமாட்டாரோ?
8 Is his mercie cleane gone for euer? doeth his promise faile for euermore?
அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு என்றென்றும் ஒழிந்துபோயிற்றோ? அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் அற்றுப்போயிற்றோ?
9 Hath God forgotten to be mercifull? hath he shut vp his teder mercies in displeasure? (Selah)
இறைவன் தயைசெய்ய மறந்துவிட்டாரோ? அவர் தமது கோபத்தில் இரக்கங்காட்ட மறுத்துவிட்டாரோ?”
10 And I sayde, This is my death: yet I remembred the yeeres of the right hand of the most High.
அப்பொழுது நான்: “மகா உன்னதமானவரின் வலதுகரம், எனக்காக செயலாற்றுகிறது,
11 I remembred the workes of the Lord: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde.
யெகோவாவின் செயல்களை நான் நினைவுகூருவேன்; ஆம், முற்காலத்தில் நீர் செய்த அற்புதங்களை நான் நினைவிற்கொள்வேன்.
12 I did also meditate all thy woorkes, and did deuise of thine actes, saying,
உமது செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் நான் தியானிப்பேன்; உமது வல்லமையான செயல்களை நான் சிந்திப்பேன்” என்றேன்.
13 Thy way, O God, is in the Sanctuarie: who is so great a God as our God!
இறைவனே, உமது வழிகள் பரிசுத்தமானவை; நம்முடைய இறைவனைப்போல் பெரிய தெய்வம் யார்?
14 Thou art ye God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy power among the people.
அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிற இறைவன் நீரே; நீர் மக்கள் மத்தியில் உமது வல்லமையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறீர்.
15 Thou hast redeemed thy people with thine arme, euen the sonnes of Iaakob and Ioseph. (Selah)
உமது வல்லமையுள்ள புயத்தினால் யாக்கோபு, யோசேப்பு ஆகியோரின் சந்ததியான உமது மக்களை நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்டீர்.
16 The waters sawe thee, O God: the waters sawe thee, and were afraide: yea, the depths trembled.
இறைவனே, சமுத்திரம் உம்மைக் கண்டது, சமுத்திரம் உம்மைக் கண்டு தத்தளித்தது; மகா ஆழங்களும் நடுங்கின.
17 The cloudes powred out water: the heauens gaue a sounde: yea, thine arrowes went abroade.
மேகங்கள் தண்ணீரைப் பொழிந்தன, ஆகாயங்கள் முழங்கி அதிர்ந்தன; உமது அம்புகள் அங்கும் இங்கும் மின்னிப் பாய்ந்தன.
18 The voyce of thy thunder was rounde about: the lightnings lightened the worlde: the earth trembled and shooke.
உமது இடியொலி சுழற்காற்றில் கேட்டது, உமது மின்னல் உலகத்திற்கு வெளிச்சம் கொடுத்தது; பூமி நடுங்கி அதிர்ந்தது.
19 Thy way is in the Sea, and thy paths in the great waters, and thy footesteps are not knowen.
உமது பாதை கடலிலும், உமது வழி பெருவெள்ளத்திலும் இருந்தது; ஆனாலும் உமது அடிச்சுவடுகள் காணப்படவில்லை.
20 Thou diddest leade thy people like sheepe by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
மோசே, ஆரோன் என்பவர்களுடைய கையினால் நீர் உமது மக்களை ஒரு மந்தையைப்போல் நடத்தினீர்.
