Psalms 77
1 For the excellent musician Ieduthun. A Psalme committed to Asaph. My voyce came to God, when I cryed: my voyce came to God, and he heard me.
Mai marelui muzician, lui Iedutun, un psalm al lui Asaf. Am strigat către Dumnezeu cu vocea mea, către Dumnezeu cu vocea mea; și el a deschis urechea spre mine.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought ye Lord: my sore ranne and ceased not in the night: my soule refused comfort.
În ziua tulburării mele am căutat pe Domnul, rana mea a curs neîncetat în noapte; sufletul meu a refuzat să fie mângâiat.
3 I did thinke vpon God, and was troubled: I praied, and my spirit was full of anguish. (Selah)
Mi-am amintit de Dumnezeu și am fost tulburat, m-am plâns și duhul meu a fost copleșit. (Selah)
4 Thou keepest mine eyes waking: I was astonied and could not speake.
Tu îmi ții ochii veghind, sunt atât de tulburat încât nu pot vorbi.
5 Then I considered the daies of olde, and the yeeres of ancient time.
Am luat aminte la zilele din vechime, anii timpurilor vechi.
6 I called to remembrance my song in the night: I communed with mine owne heart, and my spirit searched diligently.
Îmi amintesc cântarea mea în noapte, cuget în inima mea; și duhul meu a făcut o cercetare amănunțită.
7 Will the Lord absent him selfe for euer? and will he shewe no more fauour?
Va lepăda Domnul pentru totdeauna? Și nu va mai fi el binevoitor?
8 Is his mercie cleane gone for euer? doeth his promise faile for euermore?
A dispărut mila lui pentru totdeauna? Încetează promisiunea lui pentru totdeauna?
9 Hath God forgotten to be mercifull? hath he shut vp his teder mercies in displeasure? (Selah)
A uitat Dumnezeu să arate bunătate? A închis el în mânie îndurările sale blânde? (Selah)
10 And I sayde, This is my death: yet I remembred the yeeres of the right hand of the most High.
Și am spus: Aceasta este neputința mea; dar îmi voi aminti anii mâinii drepte a celui Preaînalt.
11 I remembred the workes of the Lord: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde.
Îmi voi aminti lucrările DOMNULUI, cu siguranță îmi voi aminti minunile tale din vechime.
12 I did also meditate all thy woorkes, and did deuise of thine actes, saying,
Voi medita de asemenea la toată lucrarea ta și voi vorbi despre facerile tale.
13 Thy way, O God, is in the Sanctuarie: who is so great a God as our God!
Calea ta, Dumnezeule, este în sanctuar, cine este un Dumnezeu atât de mare ca Dumnezeul nostru?
14 Thou art ye God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy power among the people.
Tu ești Dumnezeul care face minuni, tu ți-ai vestit puterea printre popoare.
15 Thou hast redeemed thy people with thine arme, euen the sonnes of Iaakob and Ioseph. (Selah)
Cu brațul tău ți-ai răscumpărat poporul, fiii lui Iacob și Iosif. (Selah)
16 The waters sawe thee, O God: the waters sawe thee, and were afraide: yea, the depths trembled.
Apele te-au văzut, Dumnezeule, apele te-au văzut; s-au temut, adâncurile de asemenea s-au tulburat.
17 The cloudes powred out water: the heauens gaue a sounde: yea, thine arrowes went abroade.
Norii au revărsat apă, cerurile au trimis un sunet; săgețile tale de asemenea au mers departe.
18 The voyce of thy thunder was rounde about: the lightnings lightened the worlde: the earth trembled and shooke.
Vocea tunetului tău a fost în cer, fulgerele au luminat lumea, pământul a tremurat și s-a zguduit.
19 Thy way is in the Sea, and thy paths in the great waters, and thy footesteps are not knowen.
Calea ta este în mare și cărarea ta în apele mari și urmele pașilor tăi nu sunt cunoscute.
20 Thou diddest leade thy people like sheepe by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ți-ai condus poporul ca pe o turmă prin mâna lui Moise și a lui Aaron.
