Psalms 77
1 For the excellent musician Ieduthun. A Psalme committed to Asaph. My voyce came to God, when I cryed: my voyce came to God, and he heard me.
Salmo de Asafe, para o regente, conforme “Jedutum”: Clamo a Deus com minha voz, minha voz a Deus; e ele inclinará seus ouvidos a mim.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought ye Lord: my sore ranne and ceased not in the night: my soule refused comfort.
No dia da minha angústia busquei ao Senhor; minha mão estava continuamente estendida; minha alma não se deixava consolar.
3 I did thinke vpon God, and was troubled: I praied, and my spirit was full of anguish. (Selah)
Eu ficava me lembrando de Deus, e gemendo; ficava pensativo, e meu espírito desfalecia. (Selá)
4 Thou keepest mine eyes waking: I was astonied and could not speake.
Tu mantiveste abertas as pálpebras dos meus olhos; eu estava perturbado, e não conseguia falar.
5 Then I considered the daies of olde, and the yeeres of ancient time.
Eu ficava imaginando os dias antigos, e os anos passados.
6 I called to remembrance my song in the night: I communed with mine owne heart, and my spirit searched diligently.
De noite eu me lembrava de minha canção; meditava em meu coração; e meu espírito ficava procurando [entender].
7 Will the Lord absent him selfe for euer? and will he shewe no more fauour?
Será que o Senhor rejeitará para sempre? E nunca mais mostrará seu favor?
8 Is his mercie cleane gone for euer? doeth his promise faile for euermore?
A sua bondade se acabou para sempre? Ele deu fim à [sua] promessa de geração em geração?
9 Hath God forgotten to be mercifull? hath he shut vp his teder mercies in displeasure? (Selah)
Deus se esqueceu de ter misericórdia? Ele encerrou suas compaixões por causa de sua ira? (Selá)
10 And I sayde, This is my death: yet I remembred the yeeres of the right hand of the most High.
Então eu disse: Esta é a minha dor: os anos em que a mão do Altíssimo [agia].
11 I remembred the workes of the Lord: certainely I remembred thy wonders of olde.
Eu me lembrarei das obras do SENHOR; porque me lembrarei de tuas antigas maravilhas.
12 I did also meditate all thy woorkes, and did deuise of thine actes, saying,
Meditarei em todos as tuas obras, e falarei de teus feitos.
13 Thy way, O God, is in the Sanctuarie: who is so great a God as our God!
Deus, santo [é] o teu caminho; quem é deus [tão] grande como [nosso] Deus?
14 Thou art ye God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy power among the people.
Tu [és] o Deus que faz maravilhas; tu fizeste os povos conhecerem teu poder.
15 Thou hast redeemed thy people with thine arme, euen the sonnes of Iaakob and Ioseph. (Selah)
Com [teu] braço livraste teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. (Selá)
16 The waters sawe thee, O God: the waters sawe thee, and were afraide: yea, the depths trembled.
As águas te viram, ó Deus; as águas te viram, [e] tremeram; também os abismos foram abalados.
17 The cloudes powred out water: the heauens gaue a sounde: yea, thine arrowes went abroade.
Grandes nuvens derramaram muitas águas; os céus fizeram barulho; e também tuas flechas correram de um lado ao outro.
18 The voyce of thy thunder was rounde about: the lightnings lightened the worlde: the earth trembled and shooke.
O ruído de teus trovões [estava] nos ventos; relâmpagos iluminaram ao mundo; a terra se abalou e tremou.
19 Thy way is in the Sea, and thy paths in the great waters, and thy footesteps are not knowen.
Pelo mar [foi] teu caminho; e tuas veredas por muitas águas; e tuas pegadas não foram conhecidas.
20 Thou diddest leade thy people like sheepe by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Guiaste a teu povo como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.
