Psalms 76
1 To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme or song committed to Asaph. God is knowen in Iudah: his Name is great in Israel.
Fún adarí orin. Pẹ̀lú ohun èlò orin olókùn. Saamu ti Asafu. Orin. Ní Juda ni a mọ Ọlọ́run; orúkọ rẹ̀ sì lágbára ní Israẹli
2 For in Shalem is his Tabernacle, and his dwelling in Zion.
Àgọ́ rẹ̀ wà ní Salẹmu, ibùgbé rẹ̀ ni Sioni.
3 There brake he the arrowes of the bowe, the shielde and the sword and the battell. (Selah)
Níbẹ̀ ni ó ṣẹ́ ọfà, asà àti àwọn idà, ohun ìjà ogun. (Sela)
4 Thou art more bright and puissant, then the mountaines of pray.
Ìwọ ni ògo àti ọlá, ju òkè ńlá ìkógun wọ̀nyí lọ.
5 The stout hearted are spoyled: they haue slept their sleepe, and all the men of strength haue not found their hands.
A kó àwọn alágídí ọkàn ní ìkógun wọ́n sun oorun ìgbẹ̀yìn wọn; kò sí ọ̀kan nínú àwọn akọni tó lè gbé ọwọ́ rẹ̀ sókè.
6 At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe.
Ní ìfibú rẹ, Ọlọ́run Jakọbu, àwọn ẹṣin àti kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun sì dùbúlẹ̀ síbẹ̀.
7 Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!
Ìwọ nìkan ni ó yẹ kí a bẹ̀rù. Ta ló lé dúró níwájú rẹ, nígbà tí ìwọ bá ń bínú?
8 Thou didest cause thy iudgement to bee heard from heauen: therefore the earth feared and was still,
Ìwọ ń ṣe ìdájọ́ láti ọ̀run, ilé ayé bẹ̀rù, ó sì dúró jẹ́ẹ́,
9 When thou, O God, arose to iudgement, to helpe all the meeke of the earth. (Selah)
nígbà tí, ìwọ Ọlọ́run, bá dìde láti ṣe ìdájọ́, láti gba àwọn ẹni ìnilára ilẹ̀ náà. (Sela)
10 Surely the rage of man shall turne to thy praise: the remnant of the rage shalt thou restrayne.
Lóòótọ́, ìbínú rẹ sí àwọn ènìyàn ń mú ìyìn wá fún ọ, ẹni tí ó yọ nínú ìbínú rẹ ní a dá nígbà tí ìwọ bá fi ìbínú ìyókù di ara rẹ ni àmùrè.
11 Vowe and performe vnto the Lord your God, all ye that be rounde about him: let them bring presents vnto him that ought to be feared.
Jẹ́ ẹ̀jẹ́ sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ kí o sì mú un ṣẹ; kí gbogbo àwọn tí ó yí i ká mú ẹ̀bùn wá fún ẹni tí ó tọ́ láti bẹ̀rù.
12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the Kings of the earth.
Ó ké ẹ̀mí àwọn aládé kúrò; àwọn ọba ayé sì ń bẹ̀rù rẹ̀.
