Psalms 71
1 In thee, O Lord, I trust: let me neuer be ashamed.
Auf Dich, Jehovah, verlasse ich mich. Laß mich ewiglich nicht beschämt werden.
2 Rescue mee and deliuer me in thy righteousnes: incline thine eare vnto me and saue me.
Errette und befreie mich in Deiner Gerechtigkeit, neige Dein Ohr mir zu, und rette mich!
3 Be thou my strong rocke, whereunto I may alway resort: thou hast giuen commandement to saue me: for thou art my rocke, and my fortresse.
Sei Du mir ein Fels, eine Wohnstätte, dahin ich beständig kommen mag; Du hast geboten, mich zu retten. Meine Felsklippe und meine Feste bist Du.
4 Deliuer mee, O my God, out of the hande of the wicked: out of the hande of the euill and cruell man.
Mein Gott, befreie mich aus der Hand des Ungerechten, aus der Hand des Verkehrten und des Heftigen.
5 For thou art mine hope, O Lord God, euen my trust from my youth.
Denn Du bist meine Hoffnung, Herr Jehovah, mein Vertrauen von meiner Jugend auf.
6 Vpon thee haue I beene stayed from the wombe: thou art he that tooke me out of my mothers bowels: my praise shalbe alwaies of thee.
Auf Dich habe ich von Mutterleib an mich gelehnt. Aus meiner Mutter Eingeweide zogst Du mich heraus. In Dir ist mein Lob beständig.
7 I am become as it were a monster vnto many: but thou art my sure trust.
Wie ein Wahrzeichen war ich vielen; denn Du warst meine Zuversicht der Stärke.
8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise, and with thy glory euery day.
Mein Mund ist Deines Lobes voll und Deines Ruhmes den ganzen Tag.
9 Cast mee not off in the time of age: forsake me not when my strength faileth.
Verwirf mich nicht zur Zeit des Alters, verlaß mich nicht, wenn meine Kraft zu Ende geht.
10 For mine enemies speake of mee, and they that lay waite for my soule, take their counsell together,
Denn meine Feinde sprechen über mich; und die auf meine Seele halten, ratschlagen zusammen.
11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him, for there is none to deliuer him.
Sie sprechen: Gott hat ihn verlassen, setzet ihm nach, und fasset ihn; denn niemand ist, der ihn errette.
12 Goe not farre from me, O God: my God, haste thee to helpe me.
Gott, sei nicht fern von mir, komm schleunig mir zum Beistand.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are against my soule: let them be couered with reproofe and confusion, that seeke mine hurt.
Schämen müssen sich und verzehrt werden, die meine Seele anfeinden; Schmach und Schande umhülle sie, die mir Übles suchen.
14 But I will waite continually, and will praise thee more and more.
Ich aber will beständig warten und hinzutun zu all Deinem Lobe.
15 My mouth shall daily rehearse thy righteousnesse, and thy saluation: for I knowe not the nomber.
Mein Mund soll Deine Gerechtigkeit erzählen, Dein Heil den ganzen Tag; denn ich weiß sie nicht zu zählen.
16 I will goe forwarde in the strength of the Lord God, and will make mention of thy righteousnesse, euen of thine onely.
Ich will kommen in der Macht des Herrn Jehovah, ich will gedenken Deiner Gerechtigkeit, Deiner allein.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,
Gott, Du hast von Jugend auf mich gelehrt, und bis hierher will ich Deine Wunder ansagen.
18 Yea, euen vnto mine olde age and graie head, O God: forsake me not, vntill I haue declared thine arme vnto this generation, and thy power to all them, that shall come.
Und auch bis ins Alter und ins Greisentum, o Gott, verlasse mich nicht, bis daß ich dem Geschlechte Deinen Arm ansage, jedem, der kommen wird, Deine Macht.
19 And thy righteousnes, O God, I wil exalt on high: for thou hast done great thinges: O God, who is like vnto thee!
Und Deine Gerechtigkeit, o Gott, bis in die Höhe; was Du Großes getan hast, o Gott; wer ist, wie Du?
20 Which hast shewed me great troubles and aduersities, but thou wilt returne, and reuiue me, and wilt come againe, and take mee vp from the depth of the earth.
Der Du mich viele und böse Drangsale hast sehen lassen, kehre zurück, belebe Du mich und bringe Du mich zurück aus der Erde Abgründen, bringe mich herauf.
21 Thou wilt increase mine honour, and returne and comfort me.
Mehre Du meine Größe und wende Dich um, tröste mich.
22 Therefore will I praise thee for thy faithfulnesse, O God, vpon instrument and viole: vnto thee will I sing vpon the harpe, O Holy one of Israel.
Auch ich will Dich bekennen mit dem Instrument des Psalters, Deiner Wahrheit, o Gott; will Dir in Psalmen singen zur Harfe, Du Heiliger Israels.
23 My lippes will reioyce when I sing vnto thee, and my soule, which thou hast deliuered.
Lobpreisen werden meine Lippen, wenn ich Dir Psalmen singe, und meine Seele, die Du eingelöst hast.
24 My tongue also shall talke of thy righteousnesse daily: for they are confounded and brought vnto shame, that seeke mine hurt.
Auch meine Zunge sinnt den ganzen Tag Deine Gerechtigkeit, denn beschämt werden, denn es erröten, die mir Übles suchen.
