Psalms 66
1 To him that excelleth. A song or Psalme. Rejoice in God, all ye inhabitants of the earth.
संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. एक गीत. एक स्तोत्र. संपूर्ण पृथ्वी हर्षोल्लास में, परमेश्वर का जय जयकार करे!
2 Sing forth the glory of his name: make his praise glorious.
परमेश्वर की महिमा के तेज का गुणगान करो; महिमा का भजन गाकर उनका स्तवन करो.
3 Say vnto God, Howe terrible art thou in thy workes! through the greatnesse of thy power shall thine enemies be in subiection vnto thee.
परमेश्वर से कहो, “कैसे आश्चर्यजनक हैं आपके महाकार्य! ऐसी अतुलनीय है आपकी सामर्थ्य, कि आपके शत्रु आपके सामने संकुचित होकर झुक जाते हैं.
4 All the worlde shall worship thee, and sing vnto thee, euen sing of thy Name. (Selah)
संपूर्ण पृथ्वी आपके सामने नतमस्तक हो जाती है; सभी देश आपका स्तवन गान करते हैं, वे आपकी महिमा का स्तवन गान करते हैं.”
5 Come and beholde the workes of God: he is terrible in his doing towarde the sonnes of men.
आकर स्वयं देख लो कि परमेश्वर ने क्या-क्या किया है, कैसे शोभायमान हैं मनुष्य के हित में किए गए उनके कार्य!
6 He hath turned the Sea into drie land: they passe through the riuer on foote: there did we reioyce in him.
उन्होंने समुद्र को सूखी भूमि में बदल दिया, जब वे नदी पार कर रहे थे तो उनके पांव सूखी भूमि पर पड़ रहे थे. आओ, हम प्रभु में आनंद मनाएं.
7 He ruleth the worlde with his power: his eyes beholde the nations: the rebellious shall not exalt them selues. (Selah)
सामर्थ्य में किया गया उनका शासन सर्वदा है, सभी राष्ट्र उनकी दृष्टि में बने रहते हैं, कोई भी उनके विरुद्ध विद्रोह का विचार न करे.
8 Prayse our God, ye people, and make the voyce of his prayse to be heard.
सभी जातियों, हमारे परमेश्वर का स्तवन करो, उनके स्तवन का नाद सर्वत्र सुनाई दे;
9 Which holdeth our soules in life, and suffereth not our feete to slippe.
उन्होंने ही हमारे जीवन की रक्षा की है तथा हमारे पांवों को फिसलने से बचाया है.
10 For thou, O God, hast proued vs, thou hast tryed vs as siluer is tryed.
परमेश्वर, आपने हमारी परीक्षा ली; आपने हमें चांदी जैसे परिशुद्ध किया है.
11 Thou hast brought vs into the snare, and layed a strait chaine vpon our loynes.
आपने हमें उलझन की परिस्थिति में डालकर, हमारी पीठ पर बोझ लाद दिए.
12 Thou hast caused men to ryde ouer our heads: we went into fire and into water, but thou broughtest vs out into a welthie place.
आपने हमारे शत्रुओं को हमारे सिर कुचलते हुए जाने दिया; हमें अग्नि और जलधारा में से होकर जाना पड़ा, किंतु अंततः आपने हमें समृद्ध भूमि पर ला बसाया.
13 I will go into thine House with burnt offrings, and will pay thee my vowes,
मैं आपके मंदिर में अग्निबलि के साथ प्रवेश करूंगा, और आपसे की गई अपनी प्रतिज्ञाएं पूर्ण करूंगा.
14 Which my lippes haue promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction.
वे सभी प्रतिज्ञाएं, जो विपत्ति के अवसर पर स्वयं मैंने अपने मुख से की थी.
15 I will offer vnto thee the burnt offerings of fat rammes with incense: I will prepare bullocks and goates. (Selah)
मैं आपको पुष्ट पशुओं की बलि अर्पण करूंगा, मैं मेढ़ों, बछड़ों और बकरों की बलि अर्पण करूंगा.
16 Come and hearken, all ye that feare God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soule.
परमेश्वर के सभी श्रद्धालुओ, आओ और सुनो; मैं उन महाकार्य को लिखा करूंगा, जो मेरे हित में परमेश्वर द्वारा किए गए हैं.
17 I called vnto him with my mouth, and he was exalted with my tongue.
मैंने उन्हें पुकारा, मेरे होंठों पर उनका गुणगान था.
18 If I regard wickednesse in mine heart, the Lord will not heare me.
यदि मैंने अपने हृदय में अपराध को संजोए रखकर, उसे पोषित किया होता, तो परमेश्वर ने मेरी पुकार न सुनी होती;
19 But God hath heard me, and considered the voyce of my prayer.
किंतु परमेश्वर ने न केवल मेरी प्रार्थना सुनी; उन्होंने उसका उत्तर भी दिया है.
20 Praysed be God, which hath not put backe my prayer, nor his mercie from me.
धन्य हैं परमेश्वर, जिन्होंने मेरी प्रार्थना सुनकर उसे अस्वीकार नहीं किया, और न मुझे अपने करुणा-प्रेम से छीन लिया!
