Psalms 59
1 To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme of David on Michtam. When Saul sent and they did watch the house to kill him. O my God, deliuer mee from mine enemies: defend me from them that rise vp against me.
Luwasa ako gikan sa akong mga kaaway, akong Dios; ipahimutang ako sa ibabaw gikan niadtong makigbatok kanako.
2 Deliuer me from the wicked doers, and saue me from the bloody men.
Tipigi ako gikan niadtong mobuhat ug daotan, ug luwasa ako gikan sa mga tawo nga uhaw sa dugo.
3 For loe, they haue layd waite for my soule: the mightie men are gathered against me, not for mine offence, nor for my sinne, O Lord.
Kay tan-awa, naghulat (sila) alang sa pagkuha sa akong kinabuhi. Ang gamhanan nga magbubuhat ug daotan nagtigom batok kanako, apan dili tungod sa akong kalapasan o sa akong sala, Yahweh.
4 They runne and prepare themselues without a fault on my part: arise therefore to assist me, and beholde.
Nangandam (sila) alang sa paggukod kanako bisan wala akoy sala; Pagmata ug tabangi ako ug tan-awa.
5 Euen thou, O Lord God of hostes, O God of Israel awake to visit all the heathen, and be not merciful vnto all that transgresse maliciously. (Selah)
Ikaw, Yahweh ang Dios sa mga kasundalohang anghel, ang Dios sa Israel, tindog ug siloti ang tanang mga nasod; ayaw kaloy-i ang tanang mga daotan nga malapason. (Selah)
6 They goe to and from in the euening: they barke like dogs, and goe about the citie.
Mibalik (sila) sa kagabhion, nag-uwang (sila) sama sa mga iro ug naglibotlibot sa siyudad.
7 Behold, they brag in their talke, and swords are in their lips: for, Who, say they, doeth heare?
Tan-awa, nagginhawa (sila) agi sa ilang mga baba; ang mga espada anaa sa ilang mga ngabil, kay miingon (sila) “kinsa ang makadungog kanato?”
8 But thou, O Lord, shalt haue them in derision, and thou shalt laugh at all the heathen.
Apan ikaw, Yahweh, kataw-i (sila) gihimo mo ang tanang nasod nga kataw-anan.
9 He is strong: but I will waite vpon thee: for God is my defence.
Dios akong kusog, hatagan ko ikaw ug pagtagad; ikaw ang akong taas nga tore.
10 My mercifull God will preuent me: God wil let me see my desire vpon mine enemies.
Ang Dios magatagbo kanako sa iyang matinud-anon nga kasabotan; ipakita sa Dios kanako ang tinguha sa akong mga kaaway.
11 Slay them not, least my people forget it: but scatter them abroad by thy power, and put them downe, O Lord our shield,
Ayaw (sila) patya, o ang akong mga tawo makalimot. Kataga (sila) pinaagi sa imong gahom ug laglaga (sila) Ginoo nga among taming.
12 For the sinne of their mouth, and the words of their lips: and let them be taken in their pride, euen for their periurie and lies, that they speake.
Kay ang sala sa ilang mga baba ug ang mga pulong sa ilang mga ngabil, tugoti (sila) nga madakpan sa ilang mga garbo, ug alang sa mga tunglo ug sa mga bakak nga ilang gipahayag.
13 Consume them in thy wrath: consume them that they be no more: and let them knowe that God ruleth in Iaakob, euen vnto the ends of the world. (Selah)
Lamoya (sila) sa kasuko, lamoya (sila) aron nga mahanaw na (sila) tugoti (sila) nga masayod nga ang Dios nagdumala kang Jacob ug hangtod sa kinatumyan sa yuta. (Selah)
14 And in the euening they shall go to and from, and barke like dogs, and go about the citie.
Mibalik (sila) sa kagabhion, nga nag-uwang sama sa iro ug naglibotlibot sa siyudad.
15 They shall runne here and there for meate: and surely they shall not be satisfied, though they tary all night.
Nanagsuroy (sila) sa pagpangita ug mga pagkaon ug nagngulob (sila) sama sa iro kung dili (sila) matagbaw.
16 But I wil sing of thy power, and will prayse thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast bene my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
Apan moawit ako mahitungod sa imong kusog, ug sa kabuntagon moawit ako sa imong gugma nga dili matarog! Kay ikaw man ang akong taas nga tore ug dalangpanan sa adlaw sa akong kasubo.
17 Vnto thee, O my Strength, wil I sing: for God is my defence, and my mercifull God.
Nganha kanimo ang akong kusog, moawit ako og mga pagdayeg; kay ang Dios man ang akong taas nga tore, ang Dios sa matinud-anon nga kasabotan.
