Psalms 52

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. When Doeg the Edomite came and shewed Saul, and saide to him, Dauid is come to the house of Abimelech. Why boastest thou thy selfe in thy wickednesse, O man of power? the louing kindenesse of God indureth dayly.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుడి కోసం. ఎదోము వాడైన దోయేగు సౌలు దగ్గరకు వచ్చి దావీదు అహీమెలెకు ఇంట్లో ఉన్నాడు, అని చెప్పినప్పుడు దావీదు రాసిన దైవధ్యానం. బలశాలీ, సమస్యను సృష్టించి ఎందుకు గర్విస్తున్నావు? దేవుని నిబంధన కృప నిత్యమూ ఉంటుంది.

2 Thy tongue imagineth mischiefe, and is like a sharpe rasor, that cutteth deceitfully.

౨నీ నాలుక నాశనాన్ని ఆలోచిస్తుంది. అది పదునైన కత్తిలా వంచన చేస్తూ ఉంది.

3 Thou doest loue euill more then good, and lies more then to speake the trueth. (Selah)

౩నువ్వు మంచి కంటే దుర్మార్గాన్ని ఎక్కువ ప్రేమిస్తావు. న్యాయం మాట్లాడటం కంటే అబద్దం మాట్లాడటం నీకిష్టం.

4 Thou louest all wordes that may destroye, O deceitfull tongue!

౪కపటమైన నాలుకా! ఇతరులను మింగేసే మాటలను నువ్వు ప్రేమిస్తావు.

5 So shall God destroy thee for euer: he shall take thee and plucke thee out of thy tabernacle, and roote thee out of ye land of the liuing. (Selah)

౫కాబట్టి దేవుడు నిన్ను శాశ్వతంగా నాశనం చేస్తాడు. ఆయన నిన్ను నీ గుడారంలో నుండి పెరికి వేస్తాడు. సజీవులుండే ప్రాంతం నుండి నిన్ను పెల్లగిస్తాడు.

6 The righteous also shall see it, and feare, and shall laugh at him, saying,

౬న్యాయవంతులు అది చూసి దేవుని పట్ల భయభక్తులు కలిగి ఉంటారు. వారు నవ్వుతూ ఇలా అంటారు.

7 Beholde the man that tooke not God for his strength, but trusted vnto the multitude of his riches, and put his strength in his malice.

౭చూడండి, ఇతడు దేవుణ్ణి తన బలంగా చేసుకోకుండా తనకున్న అధిక ఐశ్వర్యంపై నమ్మకముంచాడు. నాశనకరమైన తన మార్గంలోనే స్థిరంగా నిలిచాడు.

8 But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.

౮కానీ నేను దేవుని మందిరంలో పచ్చని ఒలీవ చెట్టులాగా ఉన్నాను. దేవుని నిబంధన కృపలో నేను ఎన్నటికీ నమ్మకముంచుతాను.

9 I will alway praise thee, for that thou hast done this, and I will hope in thy Name, because it is good before thy Saints.

౯దేవా, నువ్వు చేసిన వాటిని బట్టి నేను నీకు కృతజ్ఞతలు చెప్పుకుంటాను. నీ భక్తుల సమక్షంలో నీ నామాన్ని బట్టి ఆశతో ఎదురుచూస్తాను.
