Psalms 52

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. When Doeg the Edomite came and shewed Saul, and saide to him, Dauid is come to the house of Abimelech. Why boastest thou thy selfe in thy wickednesse, O man of power? the louing kindenesse of God indureth dayly.

ପ୍ରଧାନ ବାଦ୍ୟକର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ମସ୍କୀଲ୍‍; ଦାଉଦ ଅହୀମେଲକ୍‍ର ଗୃହକୁ ଆସିଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଇଦୋମୀୟ ଦୋୟେଗ୍‍ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦେବା ବେଳେ ରଚିତ। ହେ ବୀର, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କର୍ମରେ କାହିଁକି ଦର୍ପ କରୁଅଛ?

2 Thy tongue imagineth mischiefe, and is like a sharpe rasor, that cutteth deceitfully.

ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦୟା ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜିହ୍ୱା ନିତାନ୍ତ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା କଳ୍ପନା କରି ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ କ୍ଷୁର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାପୂର୍ବକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛି।

3 Thou doest loue euill more then good, and lies more then to speake the trueth. (Selah)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁକର୍ମ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କୁକର୍ମକୁ ଓ ଧର୍ମ କଥା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମିଥ୍ୟା କଥାକୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଉଅଛ। (ସେଲା)

4 Thou louest all wordes that may destroye, O deceitfull tongue!

ହେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜିହ୍ୱେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାବତୀୟ ବିନାଶକ କଥା ଭଲ ପାଉଅଛ।

5 So shall God destroy thee for euer: he shall take thee and plucke thee out of thy tabernacle, and roote thee out of ye land of the liuing. (Selah)

ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତଦ୍ରୂପ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସଦାକାଳ ବିନାଶ କରିବେ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଟାଣି ନେବେ ଓ ଜୀବିତମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୂଳୋତ୍ପାଟନ କରିବେ। (ସେଲା)

6 The righteous also shall see it, and feare, and shall laugh at him, saying,

ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହା ଦେଖି ଭୟ କରିବେ ଓ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଉପହାସ କରି କହିବେ,

7 Beholde the man that tooke not God for his strength, but trusted vnto the multitude of his riches, and put his strength in his malice.

“ଦେଖ, ଏହି ଲୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାର ବଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କଲା ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣା ଧନର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟରେ ନିର୍ଭର କଲା। ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ବଳବାନ କଲା।”

8 But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.

ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ସତେଜ ଜୀତବୃକ୍ଷ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଅଛି। ମୁଁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦୟାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲି।

9 I will alway praise thee, for that thou hast done this, and I will hope in thy Name, because it is good before thy Saints.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସାଧନ କରିବା ସକାଶୁ ମୁଁ ସଦାକାଳ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସଦ୍‍ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବି, ଯେହେତୁ ତାହା ଉତ୍ତମ।
