Psalms 52
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid to giue instruction. When Doeg the Edomite came and shewed Saul, and saide to him, Dauid is come to the house of Abimelech. Why boastest thou thy selfe in thy wickednesse, O man of power? the louing kindenesse of God indureth dayly.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये मश्कील पर दाऊद का भजन जब दोएग एदोमी ने शाऊल को बताया कि दाऊद अहीमेलेक के घर गया था हे वीर, तू बुराई करने पर क्यों घमण्ड करता है? परमेश्वर की करुणा तो अनन्त है।
2 Thy tongue imagineth mischiefe, and is like a sharpe rasor, that cutteth deceitfully.
२तेरी जीभ केवल दुष्टता गढ़ती है; सान धरे हुए उस्तरे के समान वह छल का काम करती है।
3 Thou doest loue euill more then good, and lies more then to speake the trueth. (Selah)
३तू भलाई से बढ़कर बुराई में, और धार्मिकता की बात से बढ़कर झूठ से प्रीति रखता है। (सेला)
4 Thou louest all wordes that may destroye, O deceitfull tongue!
४हे छली जीभ, तू सब विनाश करनेवाली बातों से प्रसन्न रहती है।
5 So shall God destroy thee for euer: he shall take thee and plucke thee out of thy tabernacle, and roote thee out of ye land of the liuing. (Selah)
५निश्चय परमेश्वर तुझे सदा के लिये नाश कर देगा; वह तुझे पकड़कर तेरे डेरे से निकाल देगा; और जीवितों के लोक से तुझे उखाड़ डालेगा। (सेला)
6 The righteous also shall see it, and feare, and shall laugh at him, saying,
६तब धर्मी लोग इस घटना को देखकर डर जाएँगे, और यह कहकर उस पर हँसेंगे,
7 Beholde the man that tooke not God for his strength, but trusted vnto the multitude of his riches, and put his strength in his malice.
७“देखो, यह वही पुरुष है जिसने परमेश्वर को अपनी शरण नहीं माना, परन्तु अपने धन की बहुतायत पर भरोसा रखता था, और अपने को दुष्टता में दृढ़ करता रहा!”
8 But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.
८परन्तु मैं तो परमेश्वर के भवन में हरे जैतून के वृक्ष के समान हूँ। मैंने परमेश्वर की करुणा पर सदा सर्वदा के लिये भरोसा रखा है।
9 I will alway praise thee, for that thou hast done this, and I will hope in thy Name, because it is good before thy Saints.
९मैं तेरा धन्यवाद सर्वदा करता रहूँगा, क्योंकि तू ही ने यह काम किया है। मैं तेरे नाम पर आशा रखता हूँ, क्योंकि यह तेरे पवित्र भक्तों के सामने उत्तम है।
