Psalms 5

1 To him that excelleth upon Nehiloth. A Psalme of Dauid. Heare my wordes, O Lord: vnderstande my (meditation)

Patalinghugi, Oh Jehova, ang akong mga pulong; Tulotimbanga ang akong pagpalandong.

2 Hearken vnto the voyce of my crie, my King and my God: for vnto thee doe I pray.

Pamatia ang tingog sa akong pagtu-aw, Hari ko ug Dios ko: Kay kanimo nagaampo ako.

3 Heare my voyce in the morning, O Lord: for in the morning will I direct me vnto thee, and I will waite.

Oh Jehova, sa buntag magapatalinghug ka sa akong tingog; Sa buntag pasakaon ko ang akong pag-ampo nganha kanimo ug magahulat ako.

4 For thou art not a God that loueth wickednes: neither shall euill dwell with thee.

Kay ikaw dili mao ang Dios nga may kalipay diha sa kadautan: Ang dautan dili magapuyo uban kanimo.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: for thou hatest all them that worke iniquitie.

Ang mga mapahitas-on dili magatindog sa atubangan sa imong mga mata: Nagadumot ikaw sa tanang mga mamumuhat sa kasal-anan.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speake lyes: the Lord will abhorre the bloodie man and deceitfull.

Pagalaglagon mo kadto (sila) nga nagasulti ug mga bakak: Si Jehova nagadumot sa giuhaw sa dugo ug sa tawo nga malimbongon.

7 But I wil come into thine house in the multitude of thy mercie: and in thy feare will I worship toward thine holy Temple.

Apan mahitungod kanako, diha sa kadagaya sa imong mahigugmaong-kalolot, mosulod ako sa imong balay: Sa pagkahadlok kanimo, magasimba ako sa atubangan sa imong templo nga balaan.

8 Leade me, O Lord, in thy righteousnes, because of mine enemies: make thy way plaine before my face.

Mandoi ako, Oh Jehova, sa imong pagkamatarung tungod sa akong mga kaaway; Tul-iron mo sa akong atubangan ang imong dalan.

9 For no constancie is in their mouth: within, they are very corruption: their throte is an open sepulchre, and they flatter with their tongue.

Kay sa ilang baba walay pagkamatinumanon; Sa ilang sulod nga bahin lonlon mga kadautan; Ang ilang totonlan maoy usa ka lubnganan nga inablihan: Magaulog-ulog (sila) uban sa ilang dila.

10 Destroy them, O God: let them fall from their counsels: cast them out for the multitude of their iniquities, because they haue rebelled against thee.

Hukmi (sila) nga sad-an, Oh Dios; Ipahulog (sila) pinaagi sa ilang kaugalingong tambag: Tungod sa pagkadaghan sa ilang mga kalapasan itukmod (sila) Kay mingsukol (sila) batok kanimo.

11 And let all them that trust in thee, reioyce and triumph for euer, and couer thou them: and let them, that loue thy Name, reioyce in thee.

Apan papaglipaya kadtong tanan nga nanagsalig kanimo; Sa gihapon pasinggita (sila) sa kalipay, tungod kay ginalabanan mo (sila) Pasagdi nga maglipay usab diha kanimo ang mga nahagugma sa imong ngalan.

12 For thou Lord wilt blesse the righteous, and with fauour wilt compasse him, as with a shielde.

Kay ikaw magapanalangin sa mga matarung; Oh Jehova, ikaw magalikus kaniya uban sa kalooy ingon nga usa ka taming.
