Psalms 49
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Heare this, all ye people: giue eare, all ye that dwell in the world,
| برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور بنی قورح ای تمامی قوم‌ها این را بشنوید! ای جمیع سکنه ربع مسکون این را گوش گیرید! | ۱ |
2 As well lowe as hie, both rich and poore.
| ای عوام و خواص! ای دولتمندان وفقیران جمیع! | ۲ |
3 My mouth shall speake of wisdome, and the meditation of mine heart is of knowledge.
| زبانم به حکمت سخن می‌راند وتفکر دل من فطانت است. | ۳ |
4 I will incline mine eare to a parable, and vtter my graue matter vpon the harpe.
| گوش خود را به مثلی فرا می‌گیرم. معمای خویش را بر بربط می‌گشایم. | ۴ |
5 Wherefore should I feare in the euil dayes, when iniquitie shall compasse me about, as at mine heeles?
| چرا در روزهای بلا ترسان باشم، چون گناه پاشنه هایم مرا احاطه می‌کند؛ | ۵ |
6 They trust in their goods, and boast them selues in the multitude of their riches.
| آنانی که بر دولت خود اعتماد دارند و بر کثرت توانگری خویش فخر می‌نمایند. | ۶ |
7 Yet a man can by no meanes redeeme his brother: he can not giue his raunsome to God,
| هیچ‌کس هرگز برای برادر خودفدیه نخواهد داد و کفاره او را به خدا نخواهد بخشید. | ۷ |
8 (So precious is the redemption of their soules, and the continuance for euer)
| زیرا فدیه جان ایشان گران بهاست و ابد بدان نمی توان رسید | ۸ |
9 That he may liue still for euer, and not see the graue.
| تا زنده بماند تا ابدالاباد وفساد را نبیند. | ۹ |
10 For he seeth that wise men die, and also that the ignorant and foolish perish, and leaue their riches for others.
| زیرا می‌بیند که حکیمان می‌میرند. و جاهلان و ابلهان با هم هلاک می‌گردند و دولت خود را برای دیگران ترک می‌کنند. | ۱۰ |
11 Yet they thinke, their houses, and their habitations shall continue for euer, euen from generation to generation, and call their lands by their names.
| فکر دل ایشان این است که خانه های ایشان دائمی باشد و مسکنهای ایشان دوربه دور؛ و نامهای خود را بر زمینهای خود می‌نهند. | ۱۱ |
12 But man shall not continue in honour: he is like the beastes that die.
| لیکن انسان در حرمت باقی نمی ماند، بلکه مثل بهایم است که هلاک می‌شود. | ۱۲ |
13 This their way vttereth their foolishnes: yet their posteritie delite in their talke. (Selah)
| این طریقه ایشان، جهالت ایشان است و اعقاب ایشان سخن ایشان را می‌پسندند، سلاه. | ۱۳ |
14 Like sheepe they lie in graue: death deuoureth them, and the righteous shall haue domination ouer them in the morning: for their beautie shall consume, when they shall goe from their house to graue. (Sheol h7585)
| مثل گوسفندان درهاویه رانده می‌شوند و موت ایشان را شبانی می‌کند و صبحگاهان راستان بر ایشان حکومت خواهند کرد و جمال ایشان در هاویه پوسیده خواهد شد تا مسکنی برای آن نباشد. (Sheol h7585) | ۱۴ |
15 But God shall deliuer my soule from the power of the graue: for he will receiue me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
| لیکن خدا جان مرا از دست هاویه نجات خواهد دادزیرا که مرا خواهد گرفت، سلاه. (Sheol h7585) | ۱۵ |
16 Be not thou afrayd when one is made rich, and when the glory of his house is increased.
| پس ترسان مباش، چون کسی دولتمندگردد و جلال خانه او افزوده شود! | ۱۶ |
17 For he shall take nothing away when he dieth, neither shall his pompe descende after him.
| زیرا چون بمیرد چیزی از آن نخواهد برد و جلالش در عقب او فرو نخواهد رفت. | ۱۷ |
18 For while he liued, he reioyced himselfe: and men will prayse thee, when thou makest much of thy selfe.
| زیرا در حیات خود، خویشتن را مبارک می‌خواند. و چون بر خوداحسان می‌کنی، مردم ترا می‌ستایند. | ۱۸ |
19 He shall enter into the generation of his fathers, and they shall not liue for euer.
| لیکن به طبقه پدران خود خواهد پیوست که نور را تا به ابدنخواهند دید. | ۱۹ |
20 Man is in honour, and vnderstandeth not: he is like to beasts that perish.
| انسانی که در حرمت است وفهم ندارد، مثل بهایم است که هلاک می‌شود. | ۲۰ |
