Psalms 49
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Heare this, all ye people: giue eare, all ye that dwell in the world,
১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। করোহ-সন্তানদের একটি গীত। শোন, সমস্ত লোকেরা; কান দাও, বিশ্বের সব বাসিন্দারা।
2 As well lowe as hie, both rich and poore.
২সামান্য এবং ধনী লোকের সন্তান উভয়ই; ধনী ও দরিদ্র সকলেই।
3 My mouth shall speake of wisdome, and the meditation of mine heart is of knowledge.
৩আমার মুখ জ্ঞানের কথা বলে এবং আমার হৃদয়ের ধ্যান বোঝে।
4 I will incline mine eare to a parable, and vtter my graue matter vpon the harpe.
৪আমি দৃষ্টান্তের কথায় কান নেব; বীণাযন্ত্রে আমি গূর বাক্যের ব্যাখা করব।
5 Wherefore should I feare in the euil dayes, when iniquitie shall compasse me about, as at mine heeles?
৫কেন মন্দ দিন কে আমি ভয় করব, যখন তাদের বিপদ আমাকে ঘিরে ধরে।
6 They trust in their goods, and boast them selues in the multitude of their riches.
৬যারা নিজেদের সম্পদে বিশ্বাস করে এবং তাদের সম্পদে তারা প্রচুর গর্ব করে।
7 Yet a man can by no meanes redeeme his brother: he can not giue his raunsome to God,
৭তাদের মধ্যে কেউই নিজেকে মুক্ত করতে পারে না বা প্রায়েশ্চিত্ত এর জন্য ঈশ্বরকে কিছু দিতে পারে না।
8 (So precious is the redemption of their soules, and the continuance for euer)
৮কারণ তাদের প্রাণের মুক্তি ব্যয়বহুল এবং চিরকাল অসাধ্য।
9 That he may liue still for euer, and not see the graue.
৯কেউ চিরতরে বাঁচতে পারবে না, যাতে তার শরীর ক্ষয় না।
10 For he seeth that wise men die, and also that the ignorant and foolish perish, and leaue their riches for others.
১০কারণ সে দেখে যে, জ্ঞানী মানুষ মারা যায়; বোকা এবং বর্বরেরা একইরকম বিনষ্ট হয় এবং তারা অন্যদের জন্য তাদের সম্পদ ছেড়ে দেন।
11 Yet they thinke, their houses, and their habitations shall continue for euer, euen from generation to generation, and call their lands by their names.
১১তাদের চিন্তা হল তাদের পরিবার চিরদিনের র জন্য চলবে এবং তাদের সব প্রজন্ম সেখানে বাস করবে; তারা তাদের নিজেদের নামে তাদের জমির নাম রাখে।
12 But man shall not continue in honour: he is like the beastes that die.
১২কিন্তু মানুষ, যারা মরুভূমিরগুলো মত; সম্পদ থাকলেও জীবিত থাকবে না।
13 This their way vttereth their foolishnes: yet their posteritie delite in their talke. (Selah)
১৩এই তাদের পথ, তাদের মূর্খতা; তখন তাদের পরে, লোকে তাদের বাক্যের অনুমোদন করে। (সেলা)
14 Like sheepe they lie in graue: death deuoureth them, and the righteous shall haue domination ouer them in the morning: for their beautie shall consume, when they shall goe from their house to graue. (Sheol h7585)
১৪তাদের পাতালের জন্য একটি মেষপালকের মত নিযুক্ত করা হয়, মৃত্যু তাদের রাখাল হবে; তাদেরকে পাতালে অবতরণ করানো হবে; তাদের রূপ পাতালে ভোগ করবে যাতে তার কোনো বাসস্থান আর না থাকে। (Sheol h7585)
15 But God shall deliuer my soule from the power of the graue: for he will receiue me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
১৫কিন্তু ঈশ্বর পাতালের শক্তির হাত থেকে আমার প্রাণ মুক্ত করবেন; কারণ তিনি আমাকে গ্রহণ করবেন। (সেলা) (Sheol h7585)
16 Be not thou afrayd when one is made rich, and when the glory of his house is increased.
১৬তুমি ভয় পাবে না, যখন কেউ মহিমান্বিত হয়, যখন তার বংশ শক্তি বৃদ্ধি পাবে।
17 For he shall take nothing away when he dieth, neither shall his pompe descende after him.
১৭কারণ যখন তিনি মারা যায় সে কিছুই সঙ্গে নিয়ে যাবে না, তার ক্ষমতা তার সাথে যাবে না।
18 For while he liued, he reioyced himselfe: and men will prayse thee, when thou makest much of thy selfe.
১৮যদিও সে জীবিত থাকাকালীন নিজের প্রাণকে আশীর্বাদ করেছিল এবং তুমি তোমার জন্য মঙ্গল করলে লোকে তোমার প্রশংসা করে।
19 He shall enter into the generation of his fathers, and they shall not liue for euer.
১৯তিনি তাঁর পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে যাবে; তারা আর আলো দেখতে পাবে না।
20 Man is in honour, and vnderstandeth not: he is like to beasts that perish.
২০যার সম্পদ আছে কিন্তু কোন বুদ্ধি নেই সে এমন পশুদের মত যা নষ্ট হয়ে যায়।
