Psalms 47

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

Для дириґента хору. Синів Коре́євих, Псалом. Всі наро́ди, — плещі́ть у долоні, покли́куйте Богові голосом ра́дости,

2 For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

грізни́й бо Всевишній Госпо́дь, Цар великий всієї землі!

3 He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

Він наро́ди під нас підбиває, а поган — нам під но́ги,

4 Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. (Selah)

Він нашу спа́дщину для нас вибирає, вели́чність для Якова, що його полюбив. (Се́ла)

5 God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

Бог виступає при радісних о́криках, Господь — при голосі ро́га.

6 Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

Співайте Богові нашому, співайте, співайте Царе́ві нашому, співайте,

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

бо Бог — Цар усієї землі, співайте навча́льний псало́м!

8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

Бог зацарюва́в над наро́дами, Бог сів на святому Своєму престо́лі!

9 The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.

Зібрались влади́ки народів, народ Бога Авраамового, як Божі щити́ на землі, — між ними Він сильно звели́чений!
