Psalms 47

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; કોરાના દીકરાઓનું ગીત. હે સર્વ લોકો, તાળી પાડો; આનંદથી મોટા અવાજે ઈશ્વરની સ્તુતિ કરો.

2 For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

૨કારણ કે પરાત્પર યહોવાહ ભયાવહ છે; તે આખી પૃથ્વીના રાજાધિરાજ છે.

3 He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

૩તે આપણા તાબામાં લોકોને તથા આપણા પગ નીચે વિદેશીઓને હરાવીને મૂકશે.

4 Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. (Selah)

૪તેમણે આપણા માટે આપણો વારસો પસંદ કર્યો છે, એટલે તેમણે, પોતાના વહાલા યાકૂબની ઉત્તમતા પસંદ કરી છે. (સેલાહ)

5 God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

૫ઈશ્વર વિજયના પોકારસહિત, યહોવાહ રણશિંગડાના અવાજસહિત ચઢી ગયા છે.

6 Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

૬ઈશ્વરનાં સ્તોત્રો ગાઓ, સ્તોત્રો ગાઓ; આપણા રાજાનાં સ્તોત્રો ગાઓ, સ્તોત્રો ગાઓ.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

૭કેમ કે ઈશ્વર આખી પૃથ્વીના રાજા છે; સમજદારીથી તેમની પ્રશંસાનાં ગીતો ગાઓ.

8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

૮ઈશ્વર વિદેશીઓ પર રાજ કરે છે; ઈશ્વર પોતાના પવિત્ર સિંહાસન પર બિરાજમાન છે.

9 The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.

૯લોકોના રાજકુમારો એકત્ર થયા છે ઇબ્રાહિમના ઈશ્વરના લોકોની સાથે બધા ભેગા થયા છે; કેમ કે પૃથ્વીની સર્વ ઢાલો ઈશ્વરની છે; તે સર્વોચ્ય છે.
