Psalms 46

1 To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.

൧സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്ക്; കന്യകമാർ എന്ന രാഗത്തിൽ കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഒരു ഗീതം. 9 ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ സങ്കേതവും ബലവും ആകുന്നു; കഷ്ടസമയത്ത് അവിടുന്ന് ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത സഹായമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

2 Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.

൨അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഭൂമി മാറിപ്പോയാലും, പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ നീങ്ങി സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ വീണാലും,

3 Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)

൩അതിലെ വെള്ളം ഇരമ്പലോടെ കലങ്ങിയാലും പ്രളയത്താൽ പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങിയാലും, നാം ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.

4 Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.

൪ഒരു നദി ഉണ്ട്; അതിന്റെ തോടുകൾ ദൈവനഗരത്തെ, അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തെ തന്നെ, സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

5 God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.

൫ദൈവം അതിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട്; അത് നീങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല; ദൈവം അതികാലത്ത് തന്നെ അതിനെ സഹായിക്കും.

6 When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.

൬ജനതകൾ ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു; രാജ്യങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങി; കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾപ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമി ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.

7 The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)

൭സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ നമ്മോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ട്; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ സങ്കേതം ആകുന്നു. (സേലാ)

8 Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

൮വന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ നോക്കുവിൻ; അവിടുന്ന് ഭൂമിയിൽ എത്ര വലിയ ശൂന്യത വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു!

9 He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.

൯കർത്താവ് ഭൂമിയുടെ അറുതികൾ വരെ യുദ്ധങ്ങൾ നിർത്തൽ ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് വില്ലൊടിച്ച് കുന്തം മുറിച്ച് രഥങ്ങൾ തീയിൽ ഇട്ട് ചുട്ടുകളയുന്നു.

10 Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.

൧൦യുദ്ധം നിര്‍ത്തുവിന്‍, ഞാൻ ദൈവമാണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുവിൻ; ഞാൻ ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉന്നതൻ ആകും; ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉന്നതൻ ആകും.
