Psalms 45
1 To him that excelleth on Shoshannim a song of love to give instruction, committed to the sonnes of Korah. Mine heart will vtter forth a good matter: I wil intreat in my workes of the King: my tongue is as the pen of a swift writer.
(Giáo huấn ca của con cháu Cô-ra, theo điệu “Hoa huệ”) Tâm hồn ta xúc động với lời hay ý đẹp, cảm tác bài thơ ca tụng đức vua, lưỡi tôi thanh thoát như ngọn bút của một văn tài.
2 Thou art fayrer then the children of men: grace is powred in thy lips, because God hath blessed thee for euer.
Vua là người cao quý nhất, môi miệng đầy ân huệ đượm nhuần; Đức Chúa Trời ban phước cho người mãi mãi.
3 Gird thy sword vpon thy thigh, O most mightie, to wit, thy worship and thy glory,
Ôi đấng anh hùng! Xin đeo gươm báu, mặc uy nghiêm, vinh quang rạng ngời.
4 And prosper with thy glory: ride vpon the worde of trueth and of meekenes and of righteousnes: so thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Trong uy nghi chiến thắng, cưỡi xe lướt tới, vì chân lý, khiêm nhường, và thánh thiện, tay phải vua thực hiện những công tác phi thường.
5 Thine arrowes are sharpe to pearce the heart of the Kings enemies: therefore the people shall fall vnder thee.
Mũi tên vua nhọn bén, hãy xuyên vào tim các vua quân nghịch, các dân tộc nghịch thù hãy ngã rạp dưới chân.
6 Thy throne, O God, is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnesse.
Lạy Chúa, ngôi nước vua bền vững đời đời, công chính là quyền trượng nước vua.
7 Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.
Vua yêu chuộng công bằng, ghét gian ác. Vì thế Đức Chúa Trời, là Đức Chúa Trời của vua đã cất nhắc vua, xức dầu hân hoan cho vua nhiều hơn các vua khác.
8 All thy garments smelll of myrrhe and aloes, and cassia, when thou commest out of the yuorie palaces, where they haue made thee glad.
Áo vua ngào ngạt một dược, lô hội, và nhục quế. Từ cung điện ngà ngọc, đàn dây chúc tụng vua.
9 Kings daugthers were among thine honorable wiues: vpon thy right hand did stand the Queene in a vesture of golde of Ophir.
Các công chúa đứng trong hàng tôn quý. Hoàng hậu đứng bên phải vua, trang sức bằng vàng từ vùng Ô-phia!
10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine eare: forget also thine owne people and thy fathers house.
Hỡi quý nương, hãy nghe lời thỉnh giáo. Hãy quên đi dân tộc, và nhà cha nàng.
11 So shall the King haue pleasure in thy beautie: for he is thy Lord, and reuerence thou him.
Vua ái mộ nhan sắc nàng; hãy tôn kính người, vì là chúa của nàng.
12 And the daughter of Tyrus with the rich of the people shall doe homage before thy face with presents.
Quý nương Ty-rơ sẽ cung hiến lễ vật cho con. Người quyền quý sẽ đến cầu cạnh ân huệ nơi con.
13 The Kings daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of broydred golde.
Công nương vinh hạnh tuyệt vời trong cung điện, vương bào nàng có dệt sợi vàng.
14 She shalbe brought vnto the King in raiment of needle worke: the virgins that follow after her, and her companions shall be brought vnto thee.
Trong y phục gấm vóc triều kiến vua, theo sau có các trinh nữ cùng ra mắt vua.
15 With ioy and gladnes shall they be brought, and shall enter into the Kings palace.
Đoàn mỹ nữ vào cung điện hân hoan và khoái lạc!
16 In steade of thy fathers shall thy children be: thou shalt make them princes through all the earth.
Các hoàng nam thay thế các tổ phụ. Được phong vương cai trị khắp đất nước.
17 I will make thy Name to be remembred through all generations: therefore shall the people giue thanks vnto thee world without ende.
Tôi sẽ làm cho hậu thế ghi nhớ danh tiếng vua. Nên các dân tộc sẽ chúc tụng vua mãi mãi.
