Psalms 42
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme to give instruction, committed to the sonnes of Korah. As the harte brayeth for the riuers of water, so panteth my soule after thee, O God.
၁အို ဘုရားသခင်၊ သမင်ဒရယ်သည်အေးမြသောစမ်းရေကို တောင့်တသကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ကိုကျွန်တော်မျိုးတောင့်တပါ၏။
2 My soule thirsteth for God, euen for the liuing God: when shall I come and appeare before the presence of God?
၂အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည့်ဘုရားတည်းဟူသော ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ကိုကျွန်တော်မျိုးတောင့်တပါ၏။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အဘယ်အခါမှ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ရှေ့တော်မှောက်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍ ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။
3 My teares haue bin my meate day and night, while they dayly say vnto me, Where is thy God?
၃ငါသည်နေ့ရောညပါငိုကြွေးရသဖြင့် မျက်ရည်များသည်ငါ၏အစားအစာဖြစ် တော့၏။ ရန်သူတို့ကငါ့အား``သင်၏ဘုရားသည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း'' ဟုအစဉ်ပင် မေးလျက်နေကြ၏။
4 When I remembred these things, I powred out my very heart, because I had gone with the multitude, and ledde them into the House of God with the voyce of singing, and prayse, as a multitude that keepeth a feast.
၄ရွှင်လန်းစွာသီချင်းဆိုကာဘုရားသခင် အား ထောမနာပြုလျက်အိမ်တော်သို့သွားသူ လူပရိသတ်အား ငါသည်ဦးဆောင်ခဲ့ကြောင်းကိုသတိရသော အခါ ငါ၏စိတ်နှလုံးသည်ကြေကွဲပါ၏။
5 Why art thou cast downe, my soule, and vnquiet within me? waite on God: for I will yet giue him thankes for the helpe of his presence.
၅ငါသည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤမျှစိတ်ညှိုးငယ် ရသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ပူပင်သောကရောက်ရသနည်း။ ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်အားမျှော်ကိုးလျက် နေပါမည်။ ငါ၏ကယ်တင်ရှင်၊ငါ၏ဘုရားအားတစ်ဖန် ထောမနာပြုပါမည်။
6 My God, my soule is cast downe within me, because I remember thee, from the land of Iorden, and Hermonim, and from the mount Mizar.
၆ယခုပြည်နှင်ဒဏ်ငါခံနေရချိန်၌ငါ၏ စိတ်နှလုံးသည်ကြေကွဲလျက်ရှိ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ငါသည်ကိုယ်တော်ကို အောက်မေ့သတိရပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ဟေရမုန်တောင်နှင့် မိဇရတောင်မှဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းလှိုင်းလုံးများကို စေလွှတ်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ယော်ဒန်မြစ်မှရေတံခွန်စီးဆင်းလာသကဲ့သို့ အသံဗလံနှင့်ငါ့ကိုလွှမ်းမိုးစေတော်မူပါ၏။
7 One deepe calleth another deepe by the noyse of thy water spoutes: all thy waues and thy floods are gone ouer me.

8 The Lord will graunt his louing kindenesse in the day, and in the night shall I sing of him, euen a prayer vnto the God of my life.
၈နေ့အချိန်၌ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိ၏ ခိုင်မြဲသော မေတ္တာတော်ကိုပြတော်မူပါစေသော။ ထိုအခါညအချိန်၌ငါသည်သီချင်းဆိုနိုင်၍ ငါ၏အသက်သခင်ဘုရားသခင်ထံတော်သို့ ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုနိုင်ပါမည်။
9 I wil say vnto God, which is my rocke, Why hast thou forgotten mee? why goe I mourning, when the enemie oppresseth me?
၉``ကိုယ်တော်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား မေ့လျော့၍နေတော်မူပါသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ရန်သူတို့၏ ရက်စက်ကြမ်းကြုတ်မှုဒဏ်ကိုခံလျက် နေရပါမည်နည်း'' ဟု ငါ့ကိုကွယ်ကာသောအရှင်၊ဘုရားသခင်အား ငါလျှောက်ထားပါ၏။
10 My bones are cut asunder, while mine enemies reproch me, saying dayly vnto me, Where is thy God?
၁၀ငါ့ရန်သူများက``သင်၏ဘုရားသည် အဘယ်မှာနည်း''ဟုငါ့အားအဖန်တလဲလဲ မေးမြန်းသဖြင့် သူတို့၏စော်ကားမှုကြောင့်ငါသည်အလွန်ပင် စိတ်ပျက်အားလျော့ရပါ၏။
11 Why art thou cast downe, my soule? and why art thou disquieted within mee? waite on God: for I wil yet giue him thankes: he is my present helpe, and my God.
၁၁ငါသည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဤမျှစိတ်ညှိုးငယ်ရသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ပူပင်သောကရောက်ရသနည်း။ ငါသည်ထာဝရဘုရားအားမျှော်ကိုးပါမည်။ ငါ၏ကယ်တင်ရှင်၊ငါ၏ဘုရားသခင်အား တစ်ဖန်ထောမနာပြုပါမည်။
