Psalms 41
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. Blessed is he that iudgeth wisely of the poore: the Lord shall deliuer him in ye time of trouble.
பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். ஏழைகள்மீது கவனம் வைப்பவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; துன்ப நாளில் யெகோவா அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார்.
2 The Lord will keepe him, and preserue him aliue: he shalbe blessed vpon the earth, and thou wilt not deliuer him vnto the will of his enemies.
யெகோவா அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றி அவர்களுடைய உயிரைப் பாதுகாப்பார்; அவர்கள் பூமியில் ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருப்பார்கள்; யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய பகைவர்களின் கைக்கு அவர்களை அவனை ஒப்புவிக்கமாட்டார்.
3 The Lord wil strengthen him vpon ye bed of sorow: thou hast turned al his bed in his sicknes.
அவர்களுடைய வியாதிப்படுக்கையில் யெகோவா அவர்களைத் தாங்குவார்; படுக்கையில் வியாதியாய் இருக்கும் அவர்களுக்குச் சுகத்தைக் கொடுப்பார்.
4 Therefore I saide, Lord haue mercie vpon me: heale my soule, for I haue sinned against thee.
நான், “யெகோவாவே என்மேல் இரக்கமாயிரும்; உமக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவம் செய்திருக்கிறேன், என்னைக் குணமாக்கும்” என்று சொன்னேன்.
5 Mine enemies speake euill of me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish?
என் பகைவர்கள் என்னைக்குறித்து தீமையானதைப் பேசி, “அவன் எப்பொழுது சாவான்? அவன் பெயர் எப்பொழுது அழியும்” என்று சொல்கிறார்கள்.
6 And if hee come to see mee, hee speaketh lies, but his heart heapeth iniquitie within him, and when he commeth foorth, he telleth it.
அவர்களில் ஒருவன் என்னைப் பார்க்க வருகையில், தன் உள்ளத்தில் அவதூறை சேகரித்து உதட்டில் வஞ்சனையாகப் பேசுகிறான்; பின்பு அவன் வெளியே போய் அதைப் பரப்புகிறான்.
7 All they that hate me, whisper together against me: euen against me do they imagine mine hurt.
என் பகைவர்கள் எல்லோரும் எனக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒன்றுகூடி, முணுமுணுத்து, அவர்கள் எனக்குப் பெருங்கேடு நினைத்து சொன்னதாவது:
8 A mischiefe is light vpon him, and he that lyeth, shall no more rise.
“ஒரு கொடியநோய் அவனைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டது; அவன் படுத்திருக்கிற இடத்தைவிட்டு ஒருபோதும் எழுந்திருக்கமாட்டான்.”
9 Yea, my familiar friend, whom I trusted, which did eate of my bread, hath lifted vp the heele against me.
நான் நம்பியிருந்தவனும் அப்பத்தை என்னுடன் பகிர்ந்து சாப்பிட்டவனுமான, என் நெருங்கிய நண்பன் தன் குதிகாலை எனக்கெதிராகத் தூக்கினான்.
10 Therefore, O Lord, haue mercy vpon mee, and raise me vp: so I shall reward them.
ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவே, நீர் என்மேல் இரக்கமாயிரும்; நான் அவர்களுக்குப் பதிற்செய்யும்படி என்னை எழுப்பும்.
11 By this I know that thou fauourest me, because mine enemie doth not triumph against me.
என் பகைவன் என்னை மேற்கொள்ளாதபடியால், நீர் என்னில் பிரியமாய் இருக்கிறீரென்று நான் அறிகிறேன்.
12 And as for me, thou vpholdest me in mine integritie, and doest set me before thy face for euer.
நீர் என் உத்தமத்தில் என்னை ஆதரித்து, உமது சமுகத்தில் எப்போதும் என்னை வைத்துக்கொள்கிறீர்.
13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel worlde without ende. So be it, euen so be it.
இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனான யெகோவாவுக்கு நித்திய நித்தியமாய் துதி உண்டாகட்டும்.
