Psalms 37
1 A Psalme of David. Fret not thy selfe because of the wicked men, neither be enuious for the euill doers.
१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. दुष्टकृत्ये करणाऱ्यांवर चिडू नकोस, जे अनीतीने वागतात त्यांचा हेवा करू नकोस.
2 For they shall soone bee cut downe like grasse, and shall wither as the greene herbe.
२कारण ते लवकरच गवतासारखे वाळून जातील; व हिरव्या वनस्पतीसारखे सुकून जातील.
3 Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.
३परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव आणि जे चांगले आहे ते कर; देशात स्थिर हो आणि विश्वासूपणाने आपला व्यवसाय कर.
4 And delite thy selfe in the Lord, and hee shall giue thee thine hearts desire.
४परमेश्वरामध्ये आनंद कर, आणि तो तुला तुझ्या हृदयाच्या इच्छेप्रमाणे देईल.
5 Commit thy way vnto the Lord, and trust in him, and he shall bring it to passe.
५तू आपला मार्ग परमेश्वरावर सोपवून दे, त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेव आणि तो तुझ्याकडून कृती करील.
6 And he shall bring foorth thy righteousnes as the light, and thy iudgement as the noone day.
६तो तुझे न्यायीपण प्रकाशासारखे आणि तुझा निष्पापपणा मध्यान्हाप्रमाणे दाखवील.
7 Waite patiently vpon the Lord and hope in him: fret not thy selfe for him which prospereth in his way: nor for the man that bringeth his enterprises to passe.
७परमेश्वरासमोर स्तब्ध राहा आणि धीराने त्याची वाट पाहा. जर मनुष्य दुष्ट योजना आखतो, कोणी आपले वाईट मार्ग सिद्धीस नेतो, तर काळजी करू नको.
8 Cease from anger, and leaue off wrath: fret not thy selfe also to doe euill.
८रागावू नकोस, संताप करून घेऊ नकोस. त्याने फक्त त्रास होतो.
9 For euill doers shalbe cut off, and they that wait vpon the Lord, they shall inherite the land.
९कारण दुष्टकृत्ये करणारे नाश पावतील, परंतु जे परमेश्वराची वाट पाहतात त्यांना देशाचे वतन मिळेल.
10 Therefore yet a litle while, and the wicked shall not appeare, and thou shalt looke after his place, and he shall not be found.
१०थोड्याच काळात दुष्ट नाहीसे होतील; तू त्यांच्या ठिकाणाकडे बघशील, परंतु ते सापडणार नाहीस.
11 But meeke men shall possesse the earth, and shall haue their delite in the multitude of peace.
११परंतु नम्र पृथ्वीचे वतन मिळवतील, आणि मोठ्या समृद्धित ते हर्ष करतील.
12 The wicked practiseth against the iust, and gnasheth his teeth against him.
१२दुष्ट मनुष्य नितीमानाच्या विरोधात योजना आखतो, आणि त्याच्याविरुध्द आपले दातओठ खातो.
13 But the Lord shall laugh him to scorne: for he seeth, that his day is comming.
१३प्रभू त्यास हसत आहे, कारण त्याचा दिवस येत आहे, हे तो पाहत आहे.
14 The wicked haue drawen their sworde, and haue bent their bowe, to cast downe the poore and needie, and to slay such as be of vpright conuersation.
१४जे पीडलेले आणि गरजवंत आणि जे सरळ आहेत, त्यांना ठार मारण्यास दुष्टांनी आपली तलवार उपसली आहे आणि आपले धनुष्य वाकविले आहेत.
15 But their sword shall enter into their owne heart, and their bowes shalbe broken.
१५परंतु त्यांचे धनुष्य मोडले जातील व त्यांच्या तलवारी त्यांच्याच हृदयास छेदतील.
16 A small thing vnto the iust man is better, then great riches to the wicked and mightie.
१६अनेक दुष्ट लोकांच्या विपुलतेपेक्षा, नितीमानाकडे जे थोडे ते उत्तम आहे.
17 For the armes of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord vpholdeth the iust men.
१७कारण दुष्ट लोकांचे बाहू मोडले जातील परंतु परमेश्वर नितीमानांना आधार देईल.
18 The Lord knoweth the dayes of vpright men, and their inheritance shall bee perpetuall.
१८परमेश्वर निर्दोषास दिवसेन दिवस बघतो, आणि त्यांचे वतन सदैव राहील.
19 They shall not be confounded in the perilous time, and in the daies of famine they shall haue ynough.
१९वाईट समयी ते लज्जीत होणार नाहीत. जेव्हा दुष्काळ येईल तेव्हा त्यांच्याकडे खाण्यास पुरेसे असेल.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be consumed as the fatte of lambes: euen with the smoke shall they consume away.
२०परंतु दुष्ट मनुष्य नाश पावतील, परमेश्वराचे शत्रू कुरणाच्या शोभेसारखे होतील; ते नाश होतील आणि धुरामध्ये नाहीसे होतील.
21 The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth.
२१दुष्ट पैसे उसने घेतो परंतु त्याची परत फेड करत नाही. परंतु नितीमान मनुष्य उदारतेने देतो.
22 For such as be blessed of God, shall inherite the lande, and they that be cursed of him, shalbe cut off.
२२जे देवाकडून आशीर्वादित झालेले आहेत, ते भूमीचे वतन पावतील; आणि जे त्याच्याकडून शापित आहेत, ते छेदून टाकले जातील.
23 The pathes of man are directed by the Lord: for he loueth his way.
२३मनुष्याची पावले परमेश्वराकडून स्थिर केली जातात, असा मनुष्य ज्याचे मार्ग देवाच्या दृष्टीने प्रशंसनीय असतात.
24 Though he fall, hee shall not be cast off: for the Lord putteth vnder his hand.
२४जरी तो अडखळला, तरी तो खाली पडणार नाही. कारण परमेश्वर त्यास आपल्या हाताने सावरील.
25 I haue beene yong, and am olde: yet I sawe neuer the righteous forsaken, nor his seede begging bread.
२५मी तरुण होतो आणि आता म्हातारा झालो आहे; तरी नितीमान टाकलेला किंवा त्याच्या मुलांस भाकरी मागताना मी पाहिले नाही.
26 But hee is euer mercifull and lendeth, and his seede enioyeth the blessing.
२६सारा दिवस तो दयाळूपणाने वागतो आणि उसने देतो, त्याची संतती आशीर्वादित असते.
27 Flee from euill and doe good, and dwell for euer.
२७वाईटापासून फिर आणि चांगले ते कर. तेव्हा तू सर्वकाळासाठी वाचवला जाशील.
28 For the Lord loueth iudgement, and forsaketh not his Saintes: they shall be preserued for euermore: but the seede of the wicked shall be cut off.
२८कारण परमेश्वरास न्याय प्रिय आहे आणि तो विश्वासाने त्याच्यामागे चालणाऱ्यांस सोडत नाही. ते सर्वकाळासाठी राखून ठेवलेले आहेत. परंतु दुष्टाचे वंशज छेदले जातील.
29 The righteous men shall inherit the lande, and dwell therein for euer.
२९नितीमान तर पृथ्वीचे वतन पावतील आणि सर्वकाळ त्यामध्ये वस्ती करतील.
30 The mouth of the righteous will speake of wisedome, and his tongue will talke of iudgement.
३०नितीमान मनुष्याचे मुख ज्ञान बोलते, आणि न्याय वाढवते.
31 For the Lawe of his God is in his heart, and his steppes shall not slide.
३१त्याच्या हृदयात त्याच्या देवाचे नियमशास्त्र असते, त्याचे पाय कधी घसरणार नाहीत.
32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
३२परंतु दुष्ट मनुष्य हा नितीमान मनुष्यास बघतो, आणि त्यास मारण्याच्या शोधात असतो.
33 But the Lord wil not leaue him in his hand, nor condemne him, when he is iudged.
३३परंतु परमेश्वर त्यांना दुष्ट मनुष्याच्या हातात त्यागणार नाही. किंवा जेव्हा त्याचा न्याय होईल तेव्हा त्यास अपराधी ठरवणार नाही.
34 Waite thou on the Lord, and keepe his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherite the lande: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.
३४परमेश्वराची वाट पाहा आणि त्याचे मार्ग पाळ. आणि तो तुला वर उचलणार म्हणजे तुला भूमी मिळेल. जेव्हा दुष्ट छेदला जाणार तेव्हा तू पाहशील.
35 I haue seene the wicked strong, and spreading himselfe like a greene bay tree.
३५मी विस्तारलेल्या आणि सशक्त झाडासारखा एक दुष्ट मनुष्य पाहिला. जो आपले मूळ जमिनीत पसरवतो.
36 Yet he passed away, and loe, he was gone, and I sought him, but he could not be founde.
३६परंतु जेव्हा मी त्याच्यापासून पुन्हा गेलो, तर तो तेथे नव्हता. मी त्यास शोधले पण तो मला सापडला नाही.
37 Marke the vpright man, and beholde the iust: for the end of that man is peace.
३७प्रमाणिक माणसाकडे लक्ष लाव आणि सरळास निशाणी लाव. कारण शांततेत राहण्याऱ्या मनुष्याचे भविष्य चांगले असते.
38 But the transgressours shall be destroyed together, and the ende of the wicked shall bee cut off.
३८पापी तर पूर्णपणे नाश पावतील, परंतू दुष्टाचा भावीकाळ छेदून टाकला जाईल.
39 But the saluation of the righteous men shalbe of the Lord: he shalbe their strength in the time of trouble.
३९नितीमानाचे तारण हे परमेश्वराकडून येते, संकटसमयी तो त्यांचे रक्षण करीन.
40 For the Lord shall helpe them, and deliuer them: he shall deliuer them from the wicked, and shall saue them, because they trust in him.
४०परमेश्वर त्यांना मदत करील आणि त्यांना तारील, तो त्यांचा वाईट लोकांपासून बचाव करतो, कारण त्यांनी परमेश्वराच्याठायी आश्रय घेतला आहे.
