Psalms 36
1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid, the servant of the Lord. Wickedness sayeth to the wicked man, euen in mine heart, that there is no feare of God before his eyes.
Thaburi ya Daudi Ndĩ na ndũmĩrĩri nditũ ngoro-inĩ yakwa, ĩkoniĩ wĩhia wa mũndũ ũrĩa mwaganu: Nĩ atĩrĩ, hatirĩ wĩtigĩri Ngai maitho-inĩ make.
2 For hee flattereth himselfe in his owne eyes, while his iniquitie is foud worthy to be hated.
Nĩ gũkorwo maitho-inĩ make mwene erahaga mũno, ũũ atĩ ndangĩhota gũkũũrana o na kana athũũre mehia make.
3 The wordes of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: hee hath left off to vnderstand and to doe good.
Ciugo cia kanua gake nĩ cia waganu na nĩ cia maheeni; nĩatigĩte gũtuĩka mũndũ mũũgĩ na wa gwĩkaga wega.
4 Hee imagineth mischiefe vpon his bed: he setteth himselfe vpon a way, that is not good, and doeth not abhorre euill.
O na arĩ ũrĩrĩ-inĩ wake athugundaga o maũndũ mooru; eheanaga njĩra-inĩ ya kũmwerekeria gwĩka ũũru, na ndathũũraga ũndũ mũũru.
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.
Wee Jehova-rĩ, wendani waku ũkinyĩte o igũrũ, naguo wĩhokeku waku ũgakinya o matu-inĩ.
6 Thy righteousnesse is like the mightie moutaines: thy iudgements are like a great deepe: thou, Lord, doest saue man and beast.
Ũthingu waku ũhaana ta irĩma iria nene, kĩhooto gĩaku gĩkarikĩra ta kũrĩa kũriku. Wee Jehova-rĩ, ũmenyagĩrĩra mũndũ o na nyamũ.
7 How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the children of men trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.
Hĩ! Kaĩ wendo waku ũrĩa ũtathiraga nĩ wa goro mũno-ĩ! Andũ othe anene na anini moragĩra kĩĩgunyĩ-inĩ kĩa mathagu maku.
8 They shall be satisfied with the fatnesse of thine house, and thou shalt giue them drinke out of the riuer of thy pleasures.
Marĩĩaga makaigania kuumana na ũingĩ wa nyũmba yaku; ũmaheaga gĩa kũnyua kuuma rũũĩ-inĩ rwaku rwa gĩkeno.
9 For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light.
Nĩgũkorwo gĩthima kĩa muoyo kĩrĩ kũrĩ we; ũtheri-inĩ waku nĩho tuonaga ũtheri.
10 Extend thy louing kindnes vnto them that knowe thee, and thy righteousnesse vnto them that are vpright in heart.
Kĩrĩrĩria kwenda arĩa makũũĩ, naguo ũthingu waku ũtũũre na arĩa arũngĩrĩru ngoro.
11 Let not ye foote of pride come against me, and let not the hand of ye wicked men moue me.
Ikinya rĩa ũrĩa mwĩtĩĩi rĩroaga kũnjũkĩrĩra, o na kana guoko kwa ũrĩa mwaganu kũnyingate.
12 There they are fallen that worke iniquity: they are cast downe, and shall not be able to rise.
Ta rora wone ũrĩa andũ arĩa mekaga ũũru magwĩte thĩ; maikanĩtio thĩ, na matingĩhota gũũkĩra!
