Psalms 34
1 A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech, who droue him away, and he departed. I will alway giue thankes vnto the Lord: his praise shalbe in my mouth continually.
De David, kiam li ŝajnigis sin freneza antaŭ Abimeleĥ, kaj tiu lin forpelis kaj li foriris. Mi gloros la Eternulon en ĉiu tempo; Ĉiam laŭdo por Li estos en mia buŝo.
2 My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad.
Per la Eternulo gloriĝas mia animo; La humiluloj aŭdu kaj ĝoju.
3 Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.
Gloru la Eternulon kun mi, Kaj ni altigu kune Lian nomon.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare.
Mi serĉis la Eternulon, kaj Li respondis al mi, Kaj de ĉiuj miaj danĝeroj Li savis min.
5 They shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying,
Kiuj rigardas al Li, ricevas lumon, Kaj ilia vizaĝo ne kovriĝos per honto.
6 This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles.
Jen ĉi tiu mizerulo vokis, kaj la Eternulo aŭdis, Kaj de ĉiuj liaj mizeroj Li savis lin.
7 The Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them.
Anĝelo de la Eternulo postenas ĉirkaŭ tiuj, kiuj Lin timas, Kaj Li ilin savas.
8 Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Provu kaj vidu, kiel bona estas la Eternulo; Feliĉa estas la homo, kiu Lin fidas.
9 Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him.
Timu la Eternulon, Liaj sanktuloj; Ĉar nenio mankas al tiuj, kiuj Lin timas.
10 The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.
Leonidoj estas senhavaj kaj malsataj; Sed kiuj serĉas la Eternulon, tiuj havas mankon en nenia bono.
11 Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
Venu, infanoj, aŭskultu min; Pri timo antaŭ la Eternulo mi vin instruos.
12 What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good?
Kiu ajn vi estas, homo, Kiu deziras vivon kaj amas multajn kaj bonajn tagojn:
13 Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile.
Gardu vian langon kontraŭ malbono, Kaj vian buŝon kontraŭ mensoga parolo;
14 Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it.
Dekliniĝu de malbono kaj faru bonon, Serĉu pacon kaj ĉasu ĝin.
15 The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie.
La okuloj de la Eternulo estas turnitaj al la piuloj, Kaj Liaj oreloj al iliaj krioj.
16 But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.
La vizaĝo de la Eternulo estas kontraŭ tiuj, kiuj faras malbonon, Por ekstermi de la tero la memoron pri ili.
17 The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.
Oni krias, kaj la Eternulo aŭdas, Kaj de ĉiuj iliaj mizeroj Li ilin savas.
18 The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.
Proksima estas la Eternulo al tiuj, kies koro estas rompita, Kaj la spirite suferantajn Li helpas.
19 Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
Multaj estas la suferoj de piulo; Sed de ĉiuj la Eternulo lin savas.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Li gardas ĉiujn liajn ostojn; Eĉ unu el ili ne rompiĝos.
21 But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
La malbonulon mortigos la malbono; Kaj la malamantoj de piulo pereos.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.
La Eternulo liberigas la animon de Siaj sklavoj; Kaj ne pereos ĉiuj, kiuj Lin fidas.
