Psalms 34
1 A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech, who droue him away, and he departed. I will alway giue thankes vnto the Lord: his praise shalbe in my mouth continually.

2 My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad.
Ka hringnae ni BAWIPA dawk a kâoup han. Kârahnoumnaw ni a thai awh vaiteh, a lunghawi awh han.
3 Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.
Oe BAWIPA teh na pholen khai awh haw. A min teh rei kâoupkhai awh sei.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare.
BAWIPA ka tawng navah, ama ni na thai pouh. Ka takinae pueng thung hoi na rasa.
5 They shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying,
Ama kakhennaw teh, minhmai a pan awh. Nâtuek hai kayanae awm mahoeh.
6 This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles.
Hete mathoe ni a hram teh, BAWIPA ni a thai. Runae pueng thung hoi a rasa.
7 The Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them.
Ama kataketnaw teh, BAWIPA e kalvantami ni a teng vah petkâkalup lahoi a tungpup sin awh teh, ouk a rasa awh.
8 Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Oe, BAWIPA hawinae patek awh nateh khen awh haw. Ama kâuepnaw teh tami a yawkahawinaw doeh.
9 Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him.
Oe, a tamikathoungnaw, BAWIPA teh taket awh. A ma kataketnaw teh voutthoup hoi awm boihoeh.
10 The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.
Sendektancanaw patenghai ca hane tawn laipalah vonhlam hoi ouk ao awh. Hatei, BAWIPA katawngnaw teh, hnokahawi tawn laipalah, awm awh mahoeh.
11 Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
Camonaw tho awh haw, ka lawk thai awh haw. BAWIPA takinae na cangkhai awh han.
12 What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good?
Apimaw nuenkahawi hoi hring han ka ngai. Apimaw hnokahawi hmu hanlah hring saw ka ngai.
13 Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile.
Na lai teh yonnae thung hoi ring nateh, na pahni hah dumnae lawk dei hoeh nahanlah ring haw.
14 Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it.
Yonnae cettakhai nateh hawinae sak. Roumnae tawng nateh pâleih.
15 The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie.
BAWIPA mit ni tamikalannaw a khet teh, a hramnae lawk thai hanelah a hnâ a pakeng.
16 But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.
BAWIPA minhmai ni hawihoehnae kasakkungnaw hah a taran. Talai van ahnimouh pou pouknae tâkhawng pouh lah ao han.
17 The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.
Tamikalan a hram toteh, BAWIPA ni a thai pouh teh runae thung hoi a rasa.
18 The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.
A lungkareknaw hanelah, BAWIPA a hnai teh, muitha lungkamathoutnaw a rungngang.
19 Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
Tamikalannaw ni runae moi a kâhmo awh. Hatei, BAWIPA ni hotnaw thung hoi a rungngang.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
A hru pueng a ring pouh, buet touh boehai khoe lah awm mahoeh.
21 But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
Hawihoehnae ni tamikathout thet vaiteh, tamikalan kahmuhmanaw teh thoebo lah ao awh han.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.
BAWIPA ni a sannaw hringnae hah a ratang teh, ama kâuepnaw teh buet touh boehai thoebo lah awm mahoeh.
