Psalms 33
1 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for it becommeth vpright men to be thankefull.
Alégrense en el Señor, hacedores de justicia; porque la alabanza es hermosa para los íntegros.
2 Prayse the Lord with harpe: sing vnto him with viole and instrument of ten strings.
Alaben al Señor con arpa; hacerle melodía de salterio y decacordio.
3 Sing vnto him a newe song: sing cheerefully with a loude voyce.
Hazle una nueva canción; toquen con arte al aclamarlo.
4 For the word of the Lord is righteous, and all his workes are faithfull.
Porque la palabra del Señor es recta, y todas sus obras demuestran su fidelidad.
5 He loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lord.
Su deleite está en justicia y sabiduría; la tierra está llena de la misericordia del Señor.
6 By the worde of the Lord were the heauens made, and all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.
Por la palabra de Jehová fueron hechos los cielos; y todo el ejército del cielo por el aliento de su boca.
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as vpon an heape, and layeth vp the depths in his treasures.
Junta y almacena las aguas del mar; él mantiene en depósitos los mares profundos.
8 Let all the earth feare the Lord: let al them that dwell in the world, feare him.
Que la tierra se llene del temor del Señor; deja que todas las personas del mundo te tengan un santo temor.
9 For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.
Porque él dio la palabra, y fue hecho; por su orden existió para siempre.
10 The Lord breaketh the counsell of the heathen, and bringeth to nought the deuices of the people.
El Señor deshace los consejos de las naciones; él hace que los pensamientos de los pueblos no tengan efecto.
11 The counsell of the Lord shall stand for euer, and the thoughts of his heart throughout all ages.
El propósito del Señor es eterno, los designios de su corazón continúan a través de todas las generaciones del hombre.
12 Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord: euen the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance.
Feliz es la nación cuyo Dios es el Señor; y él pueblo quienes ha tomado como suyo.
13 The Lord looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the children of men.
El Señor está mirando hacia abajo desde el cielo; él ve a todos los hijos de los hombres;
14 From the habitation of his dwelling he beholdeth all them that dwell in the earth.
Desde su morada vigila a todos los que viven en la tierra;
15 He facioneth their hearts euery one, and vnderstandeth all their workes.
Él formó el corazón de todos ellos; sus trabajos son claros para él.
16 The King is not saued by the multitude of an hoste, neither is the mightie man deliuered by great strength.
La salvación de un rey no está en poder de su ejército; un hombre fuerte no se libera con su gran fuerza.
17 A horse is a vaine helpe, and shall not deliuer any by his great strength.
Un caballo es una falsa esperanza; su gran poder no liberará a ningún hombre del peligro.
18 Beholde, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie,
Mira, el ojo del Señor está sobre aquellos en cuyo corazón está el temor de él, sobre aquellos en quienes la esperanza está en su misericordia;
19 To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.
Para guardar sus almas de la muerte; y para mantenerlos vivos en tiempos de hambre.
20 Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.
¡Nuestras almas esperan al Señor; él es nuestra ayuda y nuestra salvación!
21 Surely our heart shall reioyce in him, because we trusted in his holy Name.
Porque en él nuestros corazones tienen alegría; en su santo nombre está nuestra esperanza.
22 Let thy mercie, O Lord, be vpon vs, as we trust in thee.
Sea tu misericordia sobre nosotros, oh Señor, mientras te esperamos.
