Psalms 33
1 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for it becommeth vpright men to be thankefull.
੧ਹੇ ਧਰਮੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਕਰੋ, ਖ਼ਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਫੱਬਦੀ ਹੈ।
2 Prayse the Lord with harpe: sing vnto him with viole and instrument of ten strings.
੨ਬਰਬਤ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ, ਦਸ ਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਿਤਾਰ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਗਾਓ।
3 Sing vnto him a newe song: sing cheerefully with a loude voyce.
੩ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓ, ਉੱਚੀ ਸੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁਰ ਤਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਵਜਾਓ।
4 For the word of the Lord is righteous, and all his workes are faithfull.
੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
5 He loueth righteousnesse and iudgement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lord.
੫ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।
6 By the worde of the Lord were the heauens made, and all the hoste of them by the breath of his mouth.
੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੱਸੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਸ ਨਾਲ
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as vpon an heape, and layeth vp the depths in his treasures.
੭ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਂ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
8 Let all the earth feare the Lord: let al them that dwell in the world, feare him.
੮ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੇ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਮੰਨਣ,
9 For he spake, and it was done: he commanded, and it stood.
੯ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
10 The Lord breaketh the counsell of the heathen, and bringeth to nought the deuices of the people.
੧੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਰਥ ਕਰਦਾ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
11 The counsell of the Lord shall stand for euer, and the thoughts of his heart throughout all ages.
੧੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ।
12 Blessed is that nation, whose God is the Lord: euen the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance.
੧੨ਧੰਨ ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਰਜਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਲਈ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ!
13 The Lord looketh downe from heauen, and beholdeth all the children of men.
੧੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 From the habitation of his dwelling he beholdeth all them that dwell in the earth.
੧੪ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
15 He facioneth their hearts euery one, and vnderstandeth all their workes.
੧੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ।
16 The King is not saued by the multitude of an hoste, neither is the mightie man deliuered by great strength.
੧੬ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਨਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਛੁੱਟ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
17 A horse is a vaine helpe, and shall not deliuer any by his great strength.
੧੭ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਘੋੜਾ ਤਾਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
18 Beholde, the eye of the Lord is vpon them that feare him, and vpon them, that trust in his mercie,
੧੮ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ,
19 To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.
੧੯ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਉਂਦਿਆ ਰੱਖੇ।
20 Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.
੨੦ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਸਾਡਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ।
21 Surely our heart shall reioyce in him, because we trusted in his holy Name.
੨੧ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
22 Let thy mercie, O Lord, be vpon vs, as we trust in thee.
੨੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ।
