Psalms 26
1 A Psalme of David. Judge me, O Lord, for I haue walked in mine innocency: my trust hath bene also in the Lord: therefore shall I not slide.
Zaburi ya Daudi. Ee Bwana, nithibitishe katika haki, maana nimeishi maisha yasiyo na lawama; nimemtumainia Bwana bila kusitasita.
2 Proue me, O Lord, and trie mee: examine my reines, and mine heart.
Ee Bwana, unijaribu, unipime, uuchunguze moyo wangu na mawazo yangu;
3 For thy louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.
kwa maana upendo wako uko mbele yangu daima, nami natembea siku zote katika kweli yako.
4 I haue not hanted with vaine persons, neither kept companie with the dissemblers.
Siketi pamoja na watu wadanganyifu, wala siandamani na wanafiki,
5 I haue hated the assemblie of the euill, and haue not companied with the wicked.
ninachukia kusanyiko la watenda mabaya na ninakataa kuketi pamoja na waovu.
6 I will wash mine handes in innocencie, O Lord, and compasse thine altar,
Ninanawa mikono yangu kwa kuwa sina hatia, naikaribia madhabahu yako, Ee Bwana,
7 That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.
nikitangaza sifa yako kwa sauti kubwa, huku nikisimulia matendo yako ya ajabu.
8 O Lord, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
Ee Bwana, naipenda nyumba yako mahali unakoishi, mahali ambapo utukufu wako hukaa.
9 Gather not my soule with the sinners, nor my life with the bloodie men:
Usiiondoe nafsi yangu pamoja na watenda dhambi, wala uhai wangu pamoja na wamwagao damu,
10 In whose handes is wickednes, and their right hand is full of bribes.
ambao mikononi mwao kuna mipango miovu, ambao mikono yao ya kuume imejaa rushwa.
11 But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.
Bali mimi ninaishi maisha yasiyo na lawama; nikomboe na unihurumie.
12 My foote standeth in vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.
Miguu yangu imesimama katika uwanja tambarare; katika kusanyiko kuu nitamsifu Bwana.
