Psalms 26
1 A Psalme of David. Judge me, O Lord, for I haue walked in mine innocency: my trust hath bene also in the Lord: therefore shall I not slide.
De David. Juge-moi, Seigneur, car j'ai cheminé en mon innocence; espérant au Seigneur, je ne serai point ébranlé.
2 Proue me, O Lord, and trie mee: examine my reines, and mine heart.
Éprouve-moi, Seigneur, et tente-moi; purifie par le feu mon cœur et mes reins.
3 For thy louing kindnesse is before mine eyes: therefore haue I walked in thy trueth.
Car ta miséricorde est devant mes yeux, et je me suis complu en ta vérité.
4 I haue not hanted with vaine persons, neither kept companie with the dissemblers.
Je ne me suis point assis au conseil de vanité, et je n'entrerai point où sont les artisans d'iniquité.
5 I haue hated the assemblie of the euill, and haue not companied with the wicked.
Je hais l'assemblée des méchants; je ne m'assiérai point avec les impies.
6 I will wash mine handes in innocencie, O Lord, and compasse thine altar,
Je me laverai les mains parmi les innocents, et je me tiendrai autour de ton autel, ô Seigneur,
7 That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.
Afin d'entendre la voix de ta louange, et de raconter toutes tes merveilles.
8 O Lord, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
Seigneur, j'ai aimé la beauté de ton temple, et le tabernacle où habite ta gloire.
9 Gather not my soule with the sinners, nor my life with the bloodie men:
Dieu, ne perds pas mon âme avec les impies, ni ma vie avec les hommes de sang,
10 In whose handes is wickednes, and their right hand is full of bribes.
Dont les mains sont iniques, dont la droite est remplie de présents.
11 But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.
Pour moi, j'ai cheminé en mon innocence; affranchis-moi et aie pitié de moi.
12 My foote standeth in vprightnesse: I will praise thee, O Lord, in the Congregations.
Mon pied est resté dans la droite voie; je te bénirai. Seigneur, dans les assemblées saintes.
