Psalms 22

1 To him that excelleth upon Aiieleth Hasshahar. A Psalme of Dauid. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me, and art so farre from mine health, and from the wordes of my roaring?

“காலைப் பெண்மான்” என்ற இராகத்தில் பாடும்படி பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். என் இறைவனே, என் இறைவனே, ஏன் என்னைக் கைவிட்டீர்? என்னைக் காப்பாற்றாமல், நான் கதறிச் சொல்லும் வார்த்தைகளை நீர் கேளாமலும் ஏன் தூரமாயிருக்கிறீர்?

2 O my God, I crie by day, but thou hearest not, and by night, but haue no audience.

என் இறைவனே, நான் பகலில் கூப்பிடுகிறேன், ஆனால் நீர் பதில் தருகிறதில்லை; இரவிலும் நான் மன்றாடுகிறேன், எனக்கு அமைதியில்லை.

3 But thou art holy, and doest inhabite the prayses of Israel.

ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரயேலின் துதி சிங்காசனத்தில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் நீர் பரிசுத்தர்.

4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didest deliuer them.

உம்மிலேயே எங்கள் முன்னோர்கள் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தார்கள்; நம்பிக்கை வைத்த அவர்களை நீர் விடுவித்தீர்.

5 They called vpon thee, and were deliuered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

அவர்கள் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், நீர் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றினீர்; உம்மில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து அவர்கள் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகவில்லை.

6 But I am a worme, and not a man: a shame of men, and the contempt of the people.

ஆனால் நானோ ஒரு புழு, மனிதனேயல்ல; மனிதரால் பழிக்கப்பட்டும், மக்களால் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டும் இருக்கிறேன்.

7 All they that see me, haue me in derision: they make a mowe and nod the head, saying,

என்னைக் காண்பவர்கள் அனைவரும் என்னை ஏளனம் செய்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் தலைகளை அசைத்து பரியாசம்செய்கிறார்கள்

8 He trusted in the Lord, let him deliuer him: let him saue him, seeing he loueth him.

“அவன் யெகோவாவை நம்பியிருக்கிறான், யெகோவா அவனை இரட்சிக்கட்டும். அவரிலே அவன் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறபடியால் அவர் அவனை விடுவிக்கட்டும்” என்கிறார்கள்.

9 But thou didest draw me out of ye wombe: thou gauest me hope, euen at my mothers breasts.

ஆனாலும், நீரே என்னைத் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்து வெளியே கொண்டுவந்தவர். நான் என் தாயின் மார்பின் அணைப்பில் இருக்கும்போதே என்னை உம்மில் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருக்கப்பண்ணினீர்.

10 I was cast vpon thee, euen from ye wombe: thou art my God from my mothers belly.

நான் பிறப்பிலிருந்தே உமது பாதுகாப்பில் இருந்தேன்; நான் என் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் இருந்ததுமுதல் நீரே என் இறைவனாக இருக்கிறீர்.

11 Be not farre from me, because trouble is neere: for there is none to helpe me.

நீர் என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரமாயிராதேயும்; ஏனென்றால் துன்பம் நெருங்கியுள்ளது, உதவிசெய்ய ஒருவருமில்லை.

12 Many yong bulles haue compassed me: mightie bulles of Bashan haue closed me about.

அநேகம் காளைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்கின்றன; பாசான் நாட்டு பலத்த காளைகள் என்னை வளைத்து கொள்கின்றன.

13 They gape vpon me with their mouthes, as a ramping and roaring lyon.

தங்கள் இரையை கிழிக்கிற கெர்ச்சிக்கும் சிங்கங்களைப் போல, அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாக தங்கள் வாய்களை விரிவாய்த் திறக்கிறார்கள்.

14 I am like water powred out, and all my bones are out of ioynt: mine heart is like waxe: it is molten in the middes of my bowels.

என் பெலன் தரையில் ஊற்றப்பட்ட தண்ணீரைப்போல் இருக்கிறது; என் எலும்புகளெல்லாம் மூட்டுகளை விட்டுக் கழன்று போயின; என் இருதயம் மெழுகு போலாகி எனக்குள்ளே உருகிப் போயிற்று.

15 My strength is dryed vp like a potsheard, and my tongue cleaueth to my iawes, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

என் பெலன் ஓட்டுத்துண்டைப் போல் வறண்டுபோயிற்று; என் நாவும் மேல்வாயுடன் ஒட்டிக்கொண்டது; என்னை சவக்குழியின் தூசியில் போடுகிறீர்.

16 For dogges haue compassed me, and the assemblie of the wicked haue inclosed me: they perced mine hands and my feete.

நாய்கள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டன; தீயவர்களின் கூட்டம் என்னை வளைத்து கொண்டது; என் கைகளையும் என் கால்களையும் ஊடுருவக் குத்தினார்கள்.

17 I may tell all my bones: yet they beholde, and looke vpon me.

என் எலும்புகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் என்னால் எண்ண முடியும்; மக்கள் என்னை உற்றுப்பார்த்து ஏளனம் செய்து மகிழுகிறார்கள்.

18 They part my garments among them, and cast lottes vpon my vesture.

அவர்கள் என் அங்கிகளைத் தங்களுக்குள் பங்கிட்டு, என் உடைக்காக சீட்டுப் போடுகிறார்கள்.

19 But be thou not farre off, O Lord, my strength: hasten to helpe me.

ஆனால் யெகோவாவே, நீர் எனக்குத் தூரமாகாதிரும்; என் பெலனே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய விரைந்து வாரும்.

20 Deliuer my soule from the sword: my desolate soule from the power of the dogge.

என்னை வாளுக்குத் தப்புவியும்; என் விலைமதிப்பற்ற உயிரை நாய்களின் வலிமையிலிருந்து விடுவியும்.

21 Saue me from the lyons mouth, and answere me in sauing me from the hornes of the vnicornes.

சிங்கங்களின் வாயிலிருந்து என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; காட்டெருதுகளின் கொம்புகளிலிருந்து என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்.

22 I wil declare thy Name vnto my brethren: in the middes of the Congregation will I praise thee, saying,

அப்பொழுது நான் என் ஜனங்களுக்கு உம்முடைய பெயரை அறிவிப்பேன், திருச்சபையில் நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.

23 Prayse the Lord, ye that feare him: magnifie ye him, all the seede of Iaakob, and feare ye him, all the seede of Israel.

யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; யாக்கோபின் சந்ததிகளே, நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அவரைக் கனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; இஸ்ரயேலின் சந்ததிகளே, நீங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் பயபக்தியாய் இருங்கள்.

24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred ye affliction of the poore: neither hath he hid his face from him, but when he called vnto him, he heard.

ஏனெனில் யெகோவா துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டவனுடைய வேதனையை, அலட்சியம் பண்ணவுமில்லை அவமதிக்கவுமில்லை. அவனிடத்திலிருந்து தமது முகத்தை மறைத்துக் கொள்ளவுமில்லை; ஆனால் அவன் உதவிகேட்டுக் கதறுகையில் அவர் செவிகொடுத்தார்.

25 My prayse shalbe of thee in the great Congregation: my vowes will I perfourme before them that feare him.

நீர் செய்த செயல்களுக்காக மகா சபையில் நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக நான் என் நேர்த்திக் கடன்களை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

26 The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lord, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.

ஏழைகள் சாப்பிட்டு திருப்தியடைவார்கள்; யெகோவாவைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் எல்லோரும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயங்கள் என்றும் வாழ்வதாக.

27 All the endes of the worlde shall remember themselues, and turne to the Lord: and all the kinreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

பூமியின் கடைசிகளெல்லாம் யெகோவாவை நினைத்து அவரிடம் திரும்பும்; நாடுகளின் குடும்பங்கள் எல்லாம் அவருக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்ந்து வணங்கும்.

28 For the kingdome is the Lords, and he ruleth among the nations.

ஏனென்றால், அரசாட்சி யெகோவாவினுடையது; அவர் நாடுகளை ஆளுகை செய்கிறார்.

29 All they that be fat in the earth, shall eate and worship: all they that go downe into the dust, shall bowe before him, euen he that cannot quicken his owne soule.

பூமியிலுள்ள செல்வந்தர் அனைவரும் விருந்துண்டு யெகோவாவை வழிபடுவார்கள்; மரித்து மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்புவோரும், தன் உயிரைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளாதோரும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக முழங்காற்படியிடுவார்கள்.

30 Their seede shall serue him: it shalbe counted vnto the Lord for a generation.

பிள்ளைகள் அவரை சேவிப்பார்கள்; வருங்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு, யெகோவாவைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லப்படும்.

31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousnesse vnto a people that shall be borne, because he hath done it.

அவர்கள் அவருடைய நீதியை, இன்னும் பிறவாமல் இருக்கும் மக்களுக்கு பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவார்கள்: அவரே இதையெல்லாம் செய்து முடித்தார்! என்பார்கள்.
