Psalms 16
1 Michtam of Dauid. Preserue mee, O God: for in thee doe I trust.
দাউদের মিকতাম। হে আমার ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমাকে নিরাপদে রাখো, কারণ আমি তোমাতেই আশ্রয় নিয়েছি।
2 O my soule, thou hast sayd vnto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my weldoing extendeth not to thee,
আমি সদাপ্রভুকে বললাম, “তুমিই আমার প্রভু; তুমি ছাড়া আমার কোনো মঙ্গল নেই।”
3 But to the Saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent: all my delite is in them.
জগতে যত পবিত্রজন আছেন তাঁদের সম্বন্ধে আমি বলি, “তাঁরা বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিসকল, আর আমি তাঁদের নিয়ে আমোদ করি।”
4 The sorowes of them, that offer to an other god, shall be multiplied: their offerings of blood will I not offer, neither make mention of their names with my lips.
যারা অন্য দেবতাদের পিছনে ছোটে তারা আরও বেশি কষ্ট পাবে; আমি সেই দেবতাদের উদ্দেশে রক্তের নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করব না এমনকি তাদের নামও উচ্চারণ করব না।
5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou shalt mainteine my lot.
হে সদাপ্রভু, একমাত্র তুমিই আমার উত্তরাধিকার ও আশীর্বাদের পানপাত্র; তুমি আমার অধিকার সুরক্ষিত করেছ।
6 The lines are fallen vnto me in pleasant places: yea, I haue a faire heritage.
যে দেশ তুমি আমাকে দিয়েছ তা মনোরম দেশ; সত্যিই কত সুন্দর আমার উত্তরাধিকার।
7 I wil prayse the Lord, who hath giuen me counsell: my reines also teach me in the nightes.
আমি সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করি, যিনি আমায় সুমন্ত্রণা দেন; রাত্রিতেও আমার হৃদয় আমায় উপদেশ দেয়।
8 I haue set the Lord alwayes before me: for hee is at my right hand: therefore I shall not slide.
আমি সর্বদা আমার চোখ সদাপ্রভুতে স্থির রাখি। তিনি আমার ডানপাশে আছেন, তাই আমি কখনও বিচলিত হব না।
9 Wherefore mine heart is glad and my tongue reioyceth: my flesh also doeth rest in hope.
তাই আমার হৃদয় আনন্দিত এবং আমার জিভ উল্লাস করে; আমার দেহ নিরাপদে বিশ্রাম নেবে,
10 For thou wilt not leaue my soule in the graue: neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
কারণ তুমি কখনও আমাকে পাতালের গর্ভে পরিত্যাগ করবে না, তুমি তোমার বিশ্বস্তদের ক্ষয় দেখতে দেবে না। (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is the fulnesse of ioy: and at thy right hand there are pleasures for euermore.
তুমি আমাকে জীবনের পথ দেখাও; তোমার সান্নিধ্য আমাকে আনন্দ দিয়ে পূর্ণ করবে, তোমার ডান হাতে আছে অনন্ত সুখ।
