Psalms 149

1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing ye vnto the Lord a newe song: let his prayse be heard in the Congregation of Saints.

Hallelujah! Singet Jehovah ein neues Lied, Sein Lob in der Versammlung der Heiligen.

2 Let Israel reioyce in him that made him, and let ye children of Zion reioyce in their King.

Israel, sei fröhlich in Dem, so Ihn gemacht hat! Die Söhne Zions sollen frohlocken in ihrem König!

3 Let them prayse his Name with the flute: let them sing prayses vnto him with the timbrell and harpe.

Sie sollen loben Seinen Namen in Reigen, singt Ihm Psalmen auf Pauke und Harfe!

4 For the Lord hath pleasure in his people: he will make the meeke glorious by deliuerance.

Denn Wohlgefallen hat Jehovah an Seinem Volke. Die Elenden schmückt Er mit Heil.

5 Let ye Saints be ioyfull with glorie: let them sing loud vpon their beddes.

Jauchzen sollen in Herrlichkeit die Heiligen, auf ihren Lagern jubeln.

6 Let the high Actes of God bee in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hands,

Mit ihren Kehlen Gott erhöhen, und in ihrer Hand das zweischneidige Schwert,

7 To execute vengeance vpon the heathen, and corrections among the people:

Zu üben Rache an den Völkerschaften, an den Volksstämmen Strafen.

8 To binde their Kings in chaines, and their nobles with fetters of yron,

Zu binden ihre Könige mit Ketten, und ihre Herrlichen mit eisernen Fußschellen.

9 That they may execute vpon them the iudgement that is written: this honour shall be to all his Saintes. Prayse ye the Lord.

An ihnen das geschriebene Gericht zu tun. Solche Ehre haben alle Seine Heiligen. Hallelujah!
