Psalms 149

1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing ye vnto the Lord a newe song: let his prayse be heard in the Congregation of Saints.

সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো। সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে নতুন গান গাও, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত ভক্তজনের সমাবেশে তাঁর প্রশংসা করো।

2 Let Israel reioyce in him that made him, and let ye children of Zion reioyce in their King.

ইস্রায়েল তার সৃষ্টিকর্তায় আনন্দ করুক; সিয়োনের লোকেরা তাদের রাজাতে উল্লাস করুক।

3 Let them prayse his Name with the flute: let them sing prayses vnto him with the timbrell and harpe.

তারা নৃত্যসহকারে তাঁর নামের প্রশংসা করুক আর খঞ্জনি ও বীণা দিয়ে তাঁর উদ্দেশে সংগীত করুক।

4 For the Lord hath pleasure in his people: he will make the meeke glorious by deliuerance.

কারণ সদাপ্রভু তাঁর প্রজাদের প্রতি প্রসন্ন; তিনি নম্রচিত্তদের বিজয় মুকুটে ভূষিত করেন।

5 Let ye Saints be ioyfull with glorie: let them sing loud vpon their beddes.

তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত ভক্তবৃন্দ তাঁর সম্মানে উল্লাস করুক তারা যখন নিজেদের বিছানায় শুয়ে থাকে তখনও যেন আনন্দগান করে।

6 Let the high Actes of God bee in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hands,

ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা তাদের মুখে ধ্বনিত হোক আর তাদের হাতে উভয় দিকে ধারবিশিষ্ট তরোয়াল,

7 To execute vengeance vpon the heathen, and corrections among the people:

জাতিগণের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিশোধ নিতে আর জাতিদের শাস্তি দিতে,

8 To binde their Kings in chaines, and their nobles with fetters of yron,

তাদের রাজাদের শিকল দিয়ে বাঁধতে, তাদের বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের লোহার শিকল দিয়ে বাঁধতে,

9 That they may execute vpon them the iudgement that is written: this honour shall be to all his Saintes. Prayse ye the Lord.

তাদের বিরুদ্ধে লিখিত বিচার নিষ্পন্ন করতে— এসব তাঁর সমস্ত বিশ্বস্ত ব্যক্তির গৌরব। সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো।
