Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

Алілуя! Хваліть Господа з небес, прославляйте Його на висотах.

2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

Хваліть Його, усі ангели Його, прославляйте Його, усі воїнства Його.

3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

Хваліть Його, сонце і місяць, прославляйте Його, усі ясні зорі.

4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

Хваліть Його, небеса небес, і води, що над небесами.

5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

Хваліть ім’я Господа, бо Він наказав – і вони були створені.

6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

Він утвердив їх на віки вічні – дав постанову, що не буде скасована.

7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

Хваліть Господа з землі, морські чудовиська й усі безодні [океану],

8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

вогонь і град, сніг і туман, вітер бурхливий, що виконує Його слово,

9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

гори й усі пагорби, дерева плодоносні й усі кедри,

10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

звірі й уся худоба, живина плазуюча й птахи крилаті,

11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

царі земні й усі племена, князі й усі судді землі,

12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

юнаки й дівчата, старі з юними –

13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

хваліть ім’я Господа, бо лише Його ім’я піднесене й велич Його – над землею й небесами!

14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.

Він підняв ріг народу Свого, прославив вірних Своїх – синів Ізраїлевих, народу, що близький Йому. Алілуя!
