Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

۱ هللویاه! خداوند را از آسمان تسبیح بخوانید! در اعلی علیین او راتسبیح بخوانید!

2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

۲ ‌ای همه فرشتگانش او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همه لشکرهای او او را تسبیح بخوانید.

3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

۳ ‌ای آفتاب و ماه او را تسبیح بخوانید. ای همه ستارگان نور او را تسبیح بخوانید.

4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

۴ ‌ای فلک الافلاک او را تسبیح بخوانید، و‌ای آبهایی که فوق آسمانهایید.

5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

۵ نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانیدزیرا که او امر فرمود پس آفریده شدند.

6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

۶ و آنها راپایدار نمود تا ابدالاباد و قانونی قرار داد که از آن در نگذرند.

7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

۷ خداوند را از زمین تسبیح بخوانید، ای نهنگان و جمیع لجه‌ها.

8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

۸ ‌ای آتش و تگرگ وبرف و مه و باد تند که فرمان او را به‌جا می‌آورید.

9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

۹ ‌ای کوهها و تمام تل‌ها و درختان میوه دار و همه سروهای آزاد.

10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

۱۰ ‌ای وحوش و جمیع بهایم وحشرات و مرغان بالدار.

11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

۱۱ ‌ای پادشاهان زمین وجمیع امت‌ها و سروران و همه داوران جهان.

12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

۱۲ ‌ای جوانان و دوشیزگان نیز و پیران و اطفال.

13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

۱۳ نام خداوند را تسبیح بخوانند، زیرا نام او تنهامتعال است و جلال او فوق زمین و آسمان.

14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.

۱۴ واو شاخی برای قوم خود برافراشته است، تا فخرباشد برای همه مقدسان او، یعنی برای بنی‌اسرائیل که قوم مقرب او می‌باشند. هللویاه!
