Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന് യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽ അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

യഹോവയുടെ സകലദൂതഗണങ്ങളേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അവിടത്തെ സർവ സ്വർഗീയസൈന്യവുമേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

സൂര്യചന്ദ്രന്മാരേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; പ്രകാശമുള്ള എല്ലാ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുമേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

സ്വർഗാധിസ്വർഗങ്ങളേ, ആകാശത്തിനുമീതേയുള്ള ജലസഞ്ചയമേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

അവ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തട്ടെ, കാരണം അവിടന്ന് കൽപ്പിച്ചു, അവ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു;

6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

അവിടന്ന് അവ എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു— മാഞ്ഞുപോകാത്ത ഒരു ഉത്തരവ് അവിടന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ഭീകരജീവികളേ, ആഴിയുടെ അഗാധസ്ഥലങ്ങളേ, ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക,

8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

തീയും കന്മഴയും മഞ്ഞും മേഘങ്ങളും അവിടത്തെ ആജ്ഞ അനുസരിക്കുന്ന കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും

9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

പർവതങ്ങളും സകലകുന്നുകളും ഫലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും എല്ലാ ദേവദാരുക്കളും

10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളും കന്നുകാലികളും ഇഴജന്തുക്കളും പറവകളും

11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും എല്ലാ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും എല്ലാ ഭരണകർത്താക്കളും

12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

യുവാക്കളും യുവതികളും വൃദ്ധരും കുട്ടികളും.

13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

ഇവയെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തട്ടെ, അവിടത്തെ നാമംമാത്രം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പ്രതാപം ഭൂമിക്കും ആകാശത്തിനുംമേൽ ഉന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.

തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തോട് അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ജനമായ, തന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തസേവകരായിരിക്കുന്ന ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയ്ക്കായി, അവിടന്ന് ഒരു കൊമ്പ് ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
