Psalms 148
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.
Hallelujah! Lobet den HERRN vom Himmel her, lobet ihn in der Höhe!
2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.
Lobet ihn, alle seine Engel; lobet ihn, alle seine Heerscharen!
3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.
Lobet ihn, Sonne und Mond; lobet ihn, alle leuchtenden Sterne!
4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.
Lobet ihn, ihr Himmelshöhen und ihr Wasser oben am Himmel!
5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
Sie sollen loben den Namen des HERRN; denn sie entstanden auf sein Geheiß,
6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.
und er verlieh ihnen ewigen Bestand; er gab ein Gesetz, das nicht überschritten wird.
7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:
Lobet den HERRN von der Erde her, ihr Walfische und alle Meeresfluten!
8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:
Feuer und Hagel, Schnee und Dunst, Sturmwind, der sein Wort ausführt;
9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:
Berge und alle Hügel, Obstbäume und alle Zedern;
10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:
wilde Tiere und alles Vieh, alles, was kriecht und fliegt;
11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:
die Könige der Erde und alle Nationen, die Fürsten und alle Richter auf Erden;
12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:
Jünglinge und auch Jungfrauen, Greise mitsamt den Knaben;
13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.
sie sollen loben den Namen des HERRN! Denn sein Name allein ist erhaben, sein Glanz überstrahlt Erde und Himmel.
14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.
Und er hat das Horn seines Volkes erhöht, allen seinen Frommen zum Ruhm, den Kindern Israel, dem Volk, das ihm nahe ist. Hallelujah!
