Psalms 148
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.
Halleluja! Lobet, ihr Himmel, den HERRN; lobet ihn in der Höhe!
2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.
Lobet ihn, alle seine Engel; lobet ihn, all sein Heer!
3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.
Lobet ihn, Sonne und Mond; lobet ihn, alle leuchtenden Sterne!
4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.
Lobet ihn, ihr Himmel allenthalben, und die Wasser, die oben am Himmel sind!
5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.
Die sollen loben den Namen des HERRN; denn er gebeut, so wird's geschaffen.
6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.
Er hält sie immer und ewiglich; er ordnet sie, daß sie nicht anders gehen müssen.
7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:
Lobet den HERRN auf Erden, ihr Walfische und alle Tiefen;
8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:
Feuer, Hagel, Schnee und Dampf, Sturmwinde, die sein Wort ausrichten;
9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:
Berge und alle Hügel, fruchtbare Bäume und alle Zedern;
10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:
Tier und alles Vieh, Gewürm und Vögel;
11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:
ihr Könige auf Erden und alle Leute, Fürsten und alle Richter auf Erden;
12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:
Jünglinge und Jungfrauen, Alte mit den Jungen
13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.
sollen loben den Namen des HERRN; denn sein Name allein ist hoch; sein Lob gehet, soweit Himmel und Erde ist.
14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.
Und er erhöhet das Horn seines Volks. Alle seine Heiligen sollen loben, die Kinder Israel, das Volk, das ihm dienet, Halleluja!
