Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places.

Praise Yahweh. Praise Yahweh, you in the heavens; praise him, you in the heights.

2 Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie.

Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts.

3 Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.

4 Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens.

Praise him, highest heaven and you waters that are above the sky.

5 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for he gave the command, and they were created.

6 And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe.

He has also established them forever and ever; he issued a decree that will never change.

7 Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths:

Praise him from the earth, you sea monsters and all ocean depths,

8 Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde:

fire and hail, snow and clouds, stormy wind fulfilling his word.

9 Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders:

Praise him, mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,

10 Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules:

animals wild and tame, creatures that crawl and birds.

11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde:

Praise Yahweh, kings of the earth and all nations, princes and all who govern on the earth,

12 Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children:

both young men and young women, elderly and children.

13 Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens.

Let them all praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is exalted and his glory extends over the earth and the heavens.

14 For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.

He has lifted up the horn of his people for praise from all his faithful ones, the Israelites, the people near to him. Praise Yahweh.
