Psalms 143
1 A Psalme of David. Heare my prayer, O Lord, and hearken vnto my supplication: answer me in thy trueth and in thy righteousnes.
(Thơ của Đa-vít) Xin nghe con cầu nguyện, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu; xin nghe con khẩn nài! Do đức thành tín và công chính, xin đáp lời con.
2 (And enter not into iudgement with thy seruant: for in thy sight shall none that liueth, be iustified)
Xin đừng phán xét đầy tớ Chúa, vì chẳng người sống nào là công chính trước mặt Ngài.
3 For the enemie hath persecuted my soule: he hath smitten my life downe to the earth: he hath layde me in the darkenes, as they that haue bene dead long agoe:
Kẻ thù con săn đuổi con. Họ đè bẹp con dưới đất, bắt con sống trong bóng đêm như xác người nơi cổ mộ.
4 And my spirit was in perplexitie in me, and mine heart within me was amased.
Tinh thần con nao núng; lòng dạ con sầu não.
5 Yet do I remember the time past: I meditate in all thy workes, yea, I doe meditate in the workes of thine hands.
Con nhớ những ngày xa xưa. Hồi tưởng công trình của Chúa và suy ngẫm việc tay Ngài làm.
6 I stretche forth mine hands vnto thee: my soule desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. (Selah)
Con đưa tay hướng về Chúa nguyện cầu. Lòng con khát khao Ngài như đất khô hạn.
7 Heare me spedely, O Lord, for my spirit faeleth: hide not thy face from me, els I shall be like vnto them that go downe into the pit.
Xin mau đến, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin đáp lời con, vì tâm hồn con tàn tạ. Xin đừng tránh mặt con, kẻo con như người xuống huyệt sâu.
8 Let me heare thy louing kindenes in the morning, for in thee is my trust: shewe mee the waie, that I should walke in, for I lift vp my soule vnto thee.
Buổi sáng, xin cho con nghe giọng nhân từ Chúa, vì con tin cậy Ngài. Xin cho con biết đường lối phải theo, vì con hướng lòng đến Chúa.
9 Deliuer me, O Lord, from mine enemies: for I hid me with thee.
Xin Chúa Hằng Hữu giải thoát con khỏi kẻ thù; vì con đến ẩn nấp nơi Ngài.
10 Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit leade me vnto the land of righteousnes.
Xin dạy con làm theo ý Chúa, vì Ngài là Đức Chúa Trời con. Thần Linh Ngài toàn thiện, xin dắt con vào lối công chính.
11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy Names sake, and for thy righteousnes bring my soule out of trouble.
Vì Danh Chúa Hằng Hữu, xin cho con sống. Do đức công chính Chúa, xin cứu con khỏi gian nan.
12 And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destrie all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.
Do lòng nhân từ, xin giết sạch kẻ thù, và tiêu diệt người làm con khốn khổ, vì con là đầy tớ Ngài.
