Psalms 136

1 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.

Give ye thanks to Jehovah, For good, for to the age [is] His kindness.

2 Praise ye the God of gods: for his mercie endureth for euer.

Give ye thanks to the God of gods, For to the age [is] His kindness.

3 Praise ye the Lord of lordes: for his mercie endureth for euer:

Give ye thanks to the Lord of lords, For to the age [is] His kindness.

4 Which onely doeth great wonders: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him doing great wonders by Himself alone, For to the age [is] His kindness.

5 Which by his wisedome made the heauens: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him making the heavens by understanding, For to the age [is] His kindness.

6 Which hath stretched out the earth vpon the waters: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him spreading the earth over the waters, For to the age [is] His kindness.

7 Which made great lightes: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him making great lights, For to the age [is] His kindness.

8 As the sunne to rule the day: for his mercie endureth for euer:

The sun to rule by day, For to the age [is] His kindness.

9 The moone and the starres to gouerne the night: for his mercie endureth for euer:

The moon and stars to rule by night, For to the age [is] His kindness.

10 Which smote Egypt with their first borne, (for his mercie endureth for euer)

To Him smiting Egypt in their first-born, For to the age [is] His kindness.

11 And brought out Israel from among them (for his mercie endureth for euer)

And bringing forth Israel from their midst, For to the age [is] His kindness.

12 With a mightie hande and stretched out arme: for his mercie endureth for euer:

By a strong hand, and a stretched-out-arm, For to the age [is] His kindness.

13 Which deuided the red Sea in two partes: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him cutting the sea of Suph into parts, For to the age [is] His kindness,

14 And made Israel to passe through the mids of it: for his mercie endureth for euer:

And caused Israel to pass through its midst, For to the age [is] His kindness,

15 And ouerthrewe Pharaoh and his hoste in the red Sea: for his mercie endureth for euer:

And shook out Pharaoh and his force in the sea of Suph, For to the age [is] His kindness.

16 Which led his people through the wildernes: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him leading His people in a wilderness, For to the age [is] His kindness.

17 Which smote great Kings: for his mercie endureth for euer:

To Him smiting great kings, For to the age [is] His kindness.

18 And slewe mightie Kings: for his mercie endureth for euer:

Yea, He doth slay honourable kings, For to the age [is] His kindness.

19 As Sihon King of the Amorites: for his mercie endureth for euer:

Even Sihon king of the Amorite, For to the age [is] His kindness.

20 And Og the King of Bashan: for his mercie endureth for euer:

And Og king of Bashan, For to the age [is] His kindness.

21 And gaue their land for an heritage: for his mercie endureth for euer:

And He gave their land for inheritance, For to the age [is] His kindness.

22 Euen an heritage vnto Israel his seruant: for his mercie endureth for euer:

An inheritance to Israel His servant, For to the age [is] His kindness.

23 Which remembred vs in our base estate: for his mercie endureth for euer:

Who in our lowliness hath remembered us, For to the age [is] His kindness.

24 And hath rescued vs from our oppressours: for his mercie endureth for euer:

And He delivereth us from our adversaries, For to the age [is] His kindness.

25 Which giueth foode to all flesh: for his mercie endureth for euer.

Giving food to all flesh, For to the age [is] His kindness.

26 Praise ye the God of heauen: for his mercie endureth for euer.

Give ye thanks to the God of the heavens, For to the age [is] His kindness!
