Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Deja que el Señor sea alabado. Oh siervos del Señor, alaben el nombre del Señor.
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
Tú que estás en la casa del Señor, y en los espacios abiertos de la casa de nuestro Dios,
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Alaben a Jah, porque él es bueno; hagan melodía a su nombre, porque es agradable.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Porque el Señor tomó consigo a Jacob, y a Israel por su propiedad.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Sé que el Señor es grande, y que nuestro Señor es más grande que todos los demás dioses.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
El Señor hizo todo lo que le agradaba, en el cielo, en la tierra, en los mares y en todas las aguas profundas.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Él hace que las nieblas suban desde los confines de la tierra; él hace llamas de trueno por la lluvia; Él envía los vientos desde sus almacenes.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
El mató las primicias de Egipto, de hombres y de bestias.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Envió señales y maravillas en medio de ti, oh Egipto, sobre Faraón y sobre todos sus siervos.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Él venció a las grandes naciones, y mató a los reyes fuertes;
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Sehón, rey de los amorreos, y Og, rey de Basán, y todos los reinos de Canaán;
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
Y dieron su tierra por heredad, por heredad a Israel su pueblo.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Oh Señor, tu nombre es eterno; y el recuerdo de ti no tendrá fin.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Porque el Señor juzgará la causa de su pueblo; tiene compasión de sus sirvientes.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Las imágenes de las naciones son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Tienen bocas, pero ninguna voz; tienen ojos, pero no ven;
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Tienen oídos, pero no oyen; y no hay aliento en sus bocas.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Los que los hacen son como ellos; y también lo es todo el que pone su esperanza en ellos.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Alaben a Jehová, oh hijos de Israel; alaben á Jehová, oh hijos de Aarón.
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Alaben al Señor, hijos de Leví, alaben todos los adoradores del Señor.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Bendito sea el Señor desde Sión, el Señor cuya casa está en Jerusalén, sea alabado Jehová.
