Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
¡Alaben al Señor! ¡Alaben su santo nombre! Alaben al Señor, todos ustedes, sus siervos
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
que lo adoran en la casa del Señor, en los atrios de nuestro Dios.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Alaben al Señor, porque Él es bueno; ¡Canten alabanzas a su nombre por todas sus maravillas!
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Porque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí mismo; a Israel lo hecho suyo.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Conozco cuán grande es el Señor, nuestro Dios es más grande que todos los dioses.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
El Señor hace lo que le place en los cielos y en la tierra, en el mar y en los océanos profundo.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Él levanta las nubes sobre la tierra, hace los relámpagos y las lluvias, envía los vientos desde sus almacenes.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Acabó con los primogénitos de Egipto, tanto humanos como animales.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Hizo milagros maravillosos entre ustedes en Egipto, contra el Faraón y sus siervos.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Derribó muchas naciones, mató a reyes con gran poderío, tales como
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Sijón, rey de los amorreos, Og, rey de Basán, y todos los reyes que gobernaron sobre Canaán.
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
Y entregó sus tierras a Israel, su pueblo predilecto, para que las poseyeran.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Señor, tu nombre permanece para siempre; tú, Señor, serás recordado por todas las generaciones.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
EL Señor reivindicará a su pueblo; y mostrará compasión con los que le siguen.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Los ídolos de las naciones paganas son solo oro y metal, hechos por manos humanas.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Tienen bocas, pero no pueden hablar; tienen ojos, pero no pueden ver.
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Tienen oídos, pero no pueden oír; ¡Ni siquiera pueden respirar!
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Aquellos que hacen ídolos serán como ellos, y también todos los que confíen en ellos.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Pueblo de Israel, ¡Alaben al Señor! Descendientes de Aarón, ¡Alaben al Señor!
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Levitas, ¡Alaben al Señor! Todos los que adoran al Señor, ¡Alábenle!
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
¡Alaben al Señor desde Sión, porque Él habita en Jerusalén! ¡Alaben al Señor!
