Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Hvalite ime Gospodnje, hvalite, sluge Gospodnje,
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
Koji stojite u domu Gospodnjem, u dvorima doma Boga našega.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Hvalite Gospoda, jer je dobar Gospod; pojte imenu njegovu, jer je slatko.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Jer Jakova izabra sebi Gospod, Izrailja za dostojanje svoje.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Jer poznah da je velik Gospod, i Gospod naš svrh svijeh bogova.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
Što god hoæe, sve Gospod èini, na nebesima i na zemlji, u morima i u svima bezdanima.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Izvodi oblake od kraja zemlje, munje èini usred dažda, izvodi vjetar iz staja njegovijeh.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
On pobi prvence u Misiru od èovjeka do živinèeta.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Pokaza znake i èudesa usred tebe, Misire, na Faraonu i na svijem slugama njegovijem.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Pobi narode velike, i izgubi careve jake:
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Siona, cara Amorejskoga, i Oga, cara Vasanskoga, i sva carstva Hananska;
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
I dade zemlju njihovu u dostojanje, u dostojanje Izrailju, narodu svojemu.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Gospode! ime je tvoje vjeèno; Gospode! spomen je tvoj od koljena do koljena.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Jer æe suditi Gospod narodu svojemu, i na sluge svoje smilovaæe se.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Idoli su neznabožaèki srebro i zlato, djelo ruku èovjeèijih;
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Usta imaju, a ne govore; oèi imaju, a ne vide;
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Uši imaju, a ne èuju; niti ima dihanja u ustima njihovijem.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Kakvi su oni onaki su i oni koji ih grade, i svi koji se uzdaju u njih.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Dome Izrailjev, blagosiljaj Gospoda; dome Aronov, blagosiljaj Gospoda;
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Dome Levijev, blagosiljaj Gospoda; koji se bojite Gospoda, blagosiljajte Gospoda.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Blagosloven Gospod na Sionu, koji živi u Jerusalimu! Aliluja!
