Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Louvado seja Yah! Louvado seja o nome de Yahweh! Louvado seja ele, seus servos de Javé,
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
você que está na casa de Yahweh, nos tribunais da casa de nosso Deus.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Louvado seja o Yah, pois Yahweh é bom. Cante louvores ao seu nome, pois isso é agradável.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Pois Yah escolheu Jacob para si mesmo, Israel por sua própria posse.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Pois eu sei que Yahweh é ótimo, que nosso Senhor está acima de todos os deuses.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
O que quer que Yahweh tenha feito, que ele tenha feito, no céu e na terra, nos mares e em todas as profundezas.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Ele faz com que as nuvens se levantem dos confins da terra. Ele faz relâmpagos com a chuva. Ele traz o vento para fora de seus tesouros.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Ele atingiu o primogênito do Egito, tanto do homem quanto do animal.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Ele enviou sinais e maravilhas para o meio de você, Egito, sobre o Faraó, e sobre todos os seus servos.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Ele atingiu muitas nações, e matou poderosos reis...
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Sihon, rei dos Amoritas, Og rei de Bashan, e todos os reinos de Canaã...
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
e deram suas terras por um patrimônio, uma herança para Israel, seu povo.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Seu nome, Yahweh, perdura para sempre; sua fama, Yahweh, ao longo de todas as gerações.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Pois Yahweh julgará seu povo e ter compaixão de seus servos.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Os ídolos das nações são a prata e o ouro, o trabalho das mãos dos homens.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Eles têm bocas, mas não podem falar. Eles têm olhos, mas não conseguem ver.
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Eles têm ouvidos, mas não conseguem ouvir, também não há respiração na boca deles.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Aqueles que os fazem serão como eles, sim, todos os que confiam neles.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Casa de Israel, Louvado seja Yahweh! Casa de Aaron, Louvado seja Yahweh!
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Casa de Levi, Louvado seja Yahweh! Vocês que temem a Javé, louvem a Javé!
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Bendito seja Yahweh de Zion, que mora em Jerusalém. Louvado seja Yah!
