Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Alleluja. Chwalcie imię PANA; chwalcie, słudzy PANA;
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
Którzy stoicie w domu PANA, w przedsionkach domu naszego Boga.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Chwalcie PANA, bo PAN jest dobry; śpiewajcie jego imieniu, bo [jest] wdzięczne.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
PAN bowiem wybrał sobie Jakuba i Izraela na swoją szczególną własność.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Wiem, że wielki jest PAN, a nasz Pan jest ponad wszystkimi bogami.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
Wszystko, co PAN chce, to czyni na niebie i na ziemi, w morzu i we wszystkich głębinach.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
On sprawia, że mgły wznoszą się z krańców ziemi; wywołuje błyskawice i deszcz, wydobywa wiatr ze swoich skarbców;
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Poraził pierworodnych w Egipcie, od człowieka aż do zwierzęcia.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Zesłał znaki i cuda pośród ciebie, Egipcie; na faraona i na wszystkie jego sługi.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Pobił wiele narodów i zgładził potężnych królów;
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Sychona, króla Amorytów, i Oga, króla Baszanu, i wszystkie królestwa Kanaanu;
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
I dał ich ziemię w dziedzictwo, w dziedzictwo Izraelowi, swemu ludowi.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Twoje imię, PANIE, [trwa] na wieki; twoja pamięć, PANIE, z pokolenia na pokolenie.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Bo PAN będzie sądzić swój lud i zmiłuje się nad swymi sługami.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Bożki pogan to srebro i złoto, dzieło ludzkich rąk.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
Mają usta, ale nie mówią; mają oczy, ale nie widzą;
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
Mają uszy, ale nie słyszą, i nie ma oddechu w ich ustach.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Podobni są do nich ci, którzy je robią, i wszyscy, którzy w nich pokładają ufność.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Domu Izraela, błogosławcie PANA; domu Aarona, błogosławcie PANA.
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Domu Lewiego, błogosławcie PANA; wy, którzy się boicie PANA, błogosławcie PANA.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Niech będzie błogosławiony z Syjonu PAN, który mieszka w Jeruzalem. Alleluja.
