Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
੧ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕੋ, ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ!
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
੨ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ,
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਹੈ!
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਲਈ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
੫ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
੬ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਚਾਹਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ!
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
੭ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਹ ਮੀਂਹ ਲਈ ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ, ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਵਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
੮ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਡੰਗਰ ਤੱਕ।
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
੯ਹੇ ਮਿਸਰ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੇ ਅਚੰਭੇ ਭੇਜੇ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਟਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ,
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
੧੦ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ,
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
੧੧ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸੀਹੋਨ ਨੂੰ, ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਓਗ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਰਜਵਾੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ।
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
੧੩ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੱਕ ਹੈ!
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
੧੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ।
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
੧੫ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤ ਸੋਨਾ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਣਾਵਟ ਹਨ।
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
੧੬ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ,
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
੧੭ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਓਹ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ!
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
੧੮ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ!।
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
੧੯ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ! ਹੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ!
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
੨੦ਹੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖੋ!
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
੨੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਵਾਸੀ ਹੈ! ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ!
