Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
Mutendereze Mukama. Mutendereze erinnya lya Mukama. Mumutendereze mmwe abaddu ba Mukama;
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
mmwe abaweereza mu nnyumba ya Mukama, mu mpya z’ennyumba ya Katonda waffe.
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Mutendereze Mukama, kubanga Mukama mulungi; mutendereze erinnya lye kubanga ekyo kisanyusa.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
Kubanga Mukama yeerondera Yakobo okuba owuwe; ye Isirayiri gwe yeeroboza okuba eky’omuwendo.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
Mmanyi nga Mukama mukulu wa kitiibwa, era nga Mukama oyo y’asinga bakatonda bonna.
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
Mukama kyonna ky’asiima ky’akola, mu ggulu ne ku nsi; mu nnyanja ne mu buziba bwayo.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Alagira ebire ne byekuluumulula okuva ku nkomerero y’ensi; atonnyesa enkuba erimu okumyansa, n’asumulula empewo okuva mu mawanika ge.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Ye yakuba ababereberye ab’e Misiri; ababereberye b’abantu n’ebibereberye by’ebisolo.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
Ye yaweereza obubonero n’ebyewuunyo wakati wo, ggwe Misiri, eri Falaawo n’abaweereza be bonna.
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Ye yakuba amawanga amangi, n’atta bakabaka ab’amaanyi era be bano,
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Sikoni kabaka w’Abamoli, ne Ogi kabaka w’e Basani ne bakabaka bonna ab’e Kanani.
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
Ensi yaabwe n’agiwaayo ng’obusika, okuba obusika bw’abantu be Isirayiri.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
Ayi Mukama, erinnya lyo lya lubeerera, era n’obukulu bwo bumanyibwa emirembe gyonna.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Kubanga Katonda aliggyako abantu be omusango, era alisaasira abaweereza be.
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
Abamawanga ebifaananyi byonna ebyole bye basinza, ebyakolebwa n’emikono gy’abantu mu ffeeza ne zaabu,
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
birina emimwa, naye tebyogera; birina amaaso, naye tebiraba;
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
birina amatu naye tebiwulira; so ne mu kamwa kaabyo temuyitamu mukka.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
Ababikola balibifaanana; na buli abyesiga alibifaanana.
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
Ayi ennyumba ya Isirayiri mutendereze Mukama; mmwe ennyumba ya Alooni mutendereze Mukama.
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Mmwe ennyumba ya Leevi mutendereze Mukama; mmwe abatya Mukama mutendereze Mukama.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Mukama ali mu Sayuuni yeebazibwe; yeebazibwe oyo abeera mu Yerusaalemi. Mutendereze Mukama.
