Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.
१यहोवा की स्तुति करो, यहोवा के नाम की स्तुति करो, हे यहोवा के सेवकों उसकी स्तुति करो,
2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,
२तुम जो यहोवा के भवन में, अर्थात् हमारे परमेश्वर के भवन के आँगनों में खड़े रहते हो!
3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
३यहोवा की स्तुति करो, क्योंकि वो भला है; उसके नाम का भजन गाओ, क्योंकि यह मनोहर है!
4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
४यहोवा ने तो याकूब को अपने लिये चुना है, अर्थात् इस्राएल को अपना निज धन होने के लिये चुन लिया है।
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
५मैं तो जानता हूँ कि यहोवा महान है, हमारा प्रभु सब देवताओं से ऊँचा है।
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
६जो कुछ यहोवा ने चाहा उसे उसने आकाश और पृथ्वी और समुद्र और सब गहरे स्थानों में किया है।
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
७वह पृथ्वी की छोर से कुहरे उठाता है, और वर्षा के लिये बिजली बनाता है, और पवन को अपने भण्डार में से निकालता है।
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
८उसने मिस्र में क्या मनुष्य क्या पशु, सब के पहिलौठों को मार डाला!
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.
९हे मिस्र, उसने तेरे बीच में फ़िरौन और उसके सब कर्मचारियों के विरुद्ध चिन्ह और चमत्कार किए।
10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
१०उसने बहुत सी जातियाँ नाश की, और सामर्थी राजाओं को,
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
११अर्थात् एमोरियों के राजा सीहोन को, और बाशान के राजा ओग को, और कनान के सब राजाओं को घात किया;
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
१२और उनके देश को बाँटकर, अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल का भाग होने के लिये दे दिया।
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
१३हे यहोवा, तेरा नाम सदा स्थिर है, हे यहोवा, जिस नाम से तेरा स्मरण होता है, वह पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी बना रहेगा।
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
१४यहोवा तो अपनी प्रजा का न्याय चुकाएगा, और अपने दासों की दुर्दशा देखकर तरस खाएगा।
15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
१५अन्यजातियों की मूरतें सोना-चाँदी ही हैं, वे मनुष्यों की बनाई हुई हैं।
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
१६उनके मुँह तो रहता है, परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती, उनके आँखें तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकती,
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
१७उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकती, न उनमें कुछ भी साँस चलती है।
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
१८जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनानेवाले भी हैं; और उन पर सब भरोसा रखनेवाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएँगे!
19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.
१९हे इस्राएल के घराने, यहोवा को धन्य कह! हे हारून के घराने, यहोवा को धन्य कह!
20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
२०हे लेवी के घराने, यहोवा को धन्य कह! हे यहोवा के डरवैयों, यहोवा को धन्य कहो!
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
२१यहोवा जो यरूशलेम में वास करता है, उसे सिय्योन में धन्य कहा जाए! यहोवा की स्तुति करो!
