Psalms 135
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him.

2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God,

3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lord is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.

4 For the Lord hath chosen Iaakob to himselfe, and Israel for his chiefe treasure.
No ka mea, ua wae mai o Iehova i ka Iakoba nona, A i ka Iseraela hoi i waiwai nona.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is aboue all gods.
No ka mea, ua ike au, he nui o Iehova, A o ko kakou Haku hoi maluna o na akua a pau;
6 Whatsoeuer pleased the Lord, that did hee in heauen and in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths.
O na mea a pau a Iehova i makemake ai, Ua hana oia ma ka lani, a ma ka honua, A ma na moana, a ma na wahi hohonu a pau.
7 He bringeth vp the cloudes from the ends of the earth, and maketh the lightnings with ye raine: he draweth foorth the winde out of his treasures.
Nana no e hoopii ka ohu mai na kihi aku o ka honua; Nana no e hana na uwila no ka ua, A hoopuka mai la oia i ka makani mailoko mai o kona waihona.
8 He smote the first borne of Egypt both of man and beast.
Nana no i pepehi ka makahiapo o ko Aigupita, Ka ke kanaka, a me ka ka holoholona hoi.
9 He hath sent tokens and wonders into the middes of thee, O Egypt, vpon Pharaoh, and vpon all his seruants.

10 He smote many nations, and slew mightie Kings:
Pepehi no oia i ko na aina, he nui loa, A luku mai i na'lii he koa loa;
11 As Sihon King of the Amorites, and Og King of Bashan, and all the kingdomes of Canaan:
Ia Sihona ke alii o ko Amora, ia Oga hoi ke alii o Basana, A me ko na aupuni a pau o Kanaana.
12 And gaue their lande for an inheritance, euen an inheritance vnto Israel his people.
A haawi mai la oia i ko lakou aina i hooilina, I hooilina hoi no ka Iseraela no kona poe kanaka.
13 Thy Name, O Lord, endureth for euer: O Lord, thy remembrance is from generation to generation.
E Iehova, e mau loa ana no kou inoa; E Iehova, e hoomanaoia no oe i na hanauna a pau.
14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.

15 The idoles of the heathen are siluer and golde, euen the worke of mens handes.
O na akua o ko na aina e, he kala, a he gula, O ka hana o ko kanaka lima.
16 They haue a mouth, and speake not: they haue eyes and see not.
He waha no ko lakou, aole nae e olelo mai; He mau maka no ko lakou, aole nae e ike mai;
17 They haue eares and heare not, neither is there any breath in their mouth.
He mau pepeiao no hoi ko lakou, aole nae e lohe mai; Aohe hoi ea maloko o ko lakou waha.
18 They that make them, are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.

19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron.

20 Praise the Lord, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
E ka ohana a Levi, e hoomaikai aku oukou ia Iehova; E ka poe i makau ia Iehova, e hoomaikai aku oukou ia Iehova.
21 Praised bee the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth in Ierusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
