Psalms 132

1 A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction.

ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവേ, ദാവീദിനെയും അദ്ദേഹം അനുഭവിച്ച എല്ലാ കഷ്ടതകളും ഓർക്കണമേ.

2 Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying,

അദ്ദേഹം യഹോവയോട് ഒരു ശപഥംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശക്തനായവനോട് ഒരു നേർച്ച നേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു:

3 I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed,

“യഹോവയ്ക്കു ഞാൻ ഒരു നിവാസസ്ഥാനം ഒരുക്കുംവരെ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശക്തനായവന് ഒരു വാസസ്ഥാനം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതുവരെ,

4 Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber,

ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയോ എന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല;

5 Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.

ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് ഉറക്കം കൊടുക്കുകയോ കൺപോളകളെ മയങ്ങാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.”

6 Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah, and found it in the fieldes of the forest.

എഫ്രാത്തയിൽ നാം അതേപ്പറ്റി കേട്ടു, യായീരിന്റെ വയലുകളിൽ നാം അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി:

7 We will enter into his Tabernacles, and worship before his footestoole.

“നമുക്കു തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകാം അവിടത്തെ പാദപീഠത്തിൽ നമുക്ക് ആരാധിക്കാം,

8 Arise, O Lord, to come into thy rest, thou, and the Arke of thy strength.

‘യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കണമേ! അവിടത്തെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് എഴുന്നള്ളണമേ, അങ്ങും അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയുടെ പ്രതീകമായ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ പേടകവും.

9 Let thy Priests be clothed with righteousnesse, and let thy Saints reioyce.

അങ്ങയുടെ പുരോഹിതവൃന്ദം നീതിയിൻവസ്ത്രം അണിയട്ടെ; അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ ആനന്ദഗാനം ആലപിക്കട്ടെ.’”

10 For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.

അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെയോർത്ത്, അവിടത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തനെ തിരസ്കരിക്കരുതേ.

11 The Lord hath sworne in trueth vnto Dauid, and he wil not shrinke from it, saying, Of the fruite of thy body will I set vpon thy throne.

യഹോവ ദാവീദിനോടൊരു ശപഥംചെയ്തു, അവിടന്ന് അതിൽനിന്നൊരിക്കലും പിന്തിരിയുകയില്ല: “നിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറക്കാരിൽ ഒരുവനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ അവരോധിക്കും.

12 If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.

നിന്റെ മക്കൾ എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി പാലിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ അഭ്യസിപ്പിച്ച എന്റെ നിയമം പിൻതുടരുകയും ചെയ്താൽ, അവരുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ എന്നുമെന്നും വാഴും.”

13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying,

കാരണം യഹോവ സീയോനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അതു തന്റെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനമാക്കാൻ അവിടന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു,

14 This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.

“ഇതാണ് എന്നെന്നേക്കും എന്റെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനം; ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കും, കാരണം ഞാനതാഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

15 I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,

അവൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ വിഭവങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞാൻ സമൃദ്ധമായി നൽകും; അവളുടെ ദരിദ്രരെ ഞാൻ ഭക്ഷണം നൽകി സംതൃപ്തരാക്കും.

16 And will clothe her Priests with saluation, and her Saints shall shoute for ioye.

അവളുടെ പുരോഹിതവൃന്ദത്തെ ഞാൻ രക്ഷ ധരിപ്പിക്കും, അവളുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ സദാ ആനന്ദഗാനം ആലപിക്കും.

17 There will I make the horne of Dauid to bud: for I haue ordeined a light for mine Anoynted.

“ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന് ഒരു കൊമ്പു മുളപ്പിക്കും എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന് ഞാൻ ഒരു വിളക്ക് ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.

അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ഞാൻ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു പൊതിയും, എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശിരസ്സ് തേജോമയമായ കിരീടത്താൽ അലംകൃതമായിരിക്കും.”
