< Psalms 132 >
1 A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction.
Abụ nrigo. O Onyenwe anyị, cheta Devid, nʼihe niile bụ ndị ọ gbakụtara azụ.
2 Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying,
Ọ ṅụrụ iyi nye Onyenwe anyị, kwee nkwa nye Onye dị ukwuu nke Jekọb:
3 I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed,
“Agaghị m abanye nʼime ụlọ m maọbụ rigoo nʼihe ndina m,
4 Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber,
agaghị m arahụ ụra, egbugbere anya m agaghị atụ oru ụra,
5 Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.
tutu ruo mgbe m chọtaara Onyenwe anyị ọnọdụ ebe obibi nye Onye dị ukwuu nke Jekọb.”
6 Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah, and found it in the fieldes of the forest.
Anyị nụrụ ihe banyere ya nʼEfrata, anyị chọtara ya nʼubi niile nke Jearim.
7 We will enter into his Tabernacles, and worship before his footestoole.
“Ka anyị gaa na-ebe obibi ya; ka anyị kpọọ isiala nʼebe ihe mgbakwasị ụkwụ ya.
8 Arise, O Lord, to come into thy rest, thou, and the Arke of thy strength.
‘Bilie, Onyenwe anyị, bata nʼebe izuike gị, gị na igbe ọgbụgba ndụ nke ike gị.
9 Let thy Priests be clothed with righteousnesse, and let thy Saints reioyce.
Ka ndị nchụaja gị yiri ezi omume gị dịka uwe; ka ndị gị kwesiri ntụkwasị obi bụọ abụ nʼihi ọṅụ.’”
10 For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.
Nʼihi ohu gị, bụ Devid, agbakụtala onye gị e tere mmanụ azụ.
11 The Lord hath sworne in trueth vnto Dauid, and he wil not shrinke from it, saying, Of the fruite of thy body will I set vpon thy throne.
Onyenwe anyị ṅụrụ Devid iyi nʼeziokwu, bụ iyi nke ọ gaghị esi na ya laghachi azụ: “Otu nʼime ụmụ gị, ka m ga-eme ka ọ nọdụ nʼocheeze gị,
12 If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.
ọ bụrụ na ụmụ ndị ikom gị edebe ọgbụgba ndụ m na ụkpụrụ niile m kuziri ha, mgbe ahụ ụmụ ha ga-anọdụ ala nʼocheeze gị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying,
Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ahọrọla Zayọn, ọ bụ ọchịchọ obi ya ime ya ebe obibi ya;
14 This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.
“Ebe a bụ ebe izuike m ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, ebe a ka ocheeze m ga-adịkwa, nʼihi na ọ bụ ihe m chọrọ.
15 I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,
Aga m eji ọtụtụ nri dị iche iche gọzie ya; aga m eji nri mee ka afọ ju ndị ogbenye ya.
16 And will clothe her Priests with saluation, and her Saints shall shoute for ioye.
Aga m eji nzọpụta yinye ndị nchụaja ya niile dịka uwe, ndị nsọ ya ga-abụ abụ nʼihi ọṅụ.
17 There will I make the horne of Dauid to bud: for I haue ordeined a light for mine Anoynted.
“Nʼebe a ka m ga-eme ka mpi puputara Devid ma debekwa oriọna nʼihi onye m e tere mmanụ.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.
Aga m eyikwasị ndị iro ya ihere dịka uwe ma aga eji okpueze mara mma chọọ isi ya mma.”
